During my recent stay at the 7Pines Hotel in Ibiza, my fourth visit to this property, I encountered several issues that detracted significantly from the overall experience, particularly with the customer service, which I believe does not merit a 5-star rating. Firstly, there was a considerable discrepancy concerning the minibar charges. Upon checkout, we were mistakenly billed €177 for minibar items we did not consume. Although we raised the issue with the management, who acknowledged the error and assured us it would be corrected, we later discovered upon checking our credit card statement that the charges had indeed been applied. This lack of follow-through on their part was both disappointing and frustrating. Similarly, while enjoying the pool area, we were wrongly charged an additional €240 under the assumption that we were external guests. This again required us to engage in unnecessary discussions with the hotel staff to rectify. I appreciate that the start of the season can be challenging, and some operational hiccups are to be expected. However, the integrity and reliability of the customer service team are crucial. It was disheartening to witness a discrepancy between what was promised by the staff at the service desk and the actions that followed. Honesty and clear communication are fundamental, especially in a high-standard establishment. Having visited this hotel multiple times, I have noticed that while the amenities and setting continue to be enjoyable, there is a persistent issue with the level of customer service that has not improved over time. I remain hopeful that future visits will show marked improvements in this area, aligning with the 5-star standard they promote.

Best view of Ibiza. Nice hotel with lots of amenities. Good restaurant. Nice gym. Misses a heated pool, which is a must have in April, May, September and October. Restaurant has good food and nice vibe.

Pros -super friendly staff -fantastic views -direct access to the ocean (not a sandy beach though) -very big rooms -Illy coffee in the rooms and fresh milk is complementary!! Wish more hotels did this. -nice gym -breakfast quality and options Cons -extra 500€ (!) to use the pool cabanas -quite far from the town centre which is a pro and con (con is that it’s around 40€ to get to Ushuaia by taxi for example) -expensive F&B

Worst service experience ever. Got charged room-service without being responsible. I AM SPEACHLESS. During the check-out I was presented with a minibar charge I did not cause. They charged me anyhow. Several attempts of exlaining the situation did not lead to anything. This is such a bad experience. WATCH OUT AND DONT GET FOOLED Update: Receiving a call from the guest manager a couple of days later let to the implications that maybe our friends were responsible for the missing items from the minibar. This is outrageous!!! I can't tell you how unsatisfying this was and how much I was overwhelmed with their attitude

A special thank-you to Fabrizio and Santiago for being such wonderful and attentive staff during my pool day and birthday celebrations last year September. Simply immaculate service! Highly recommended as a Ibiza local to enjoy a day by the pool here with amazing view, food and lounge beds.
