The resort is posting fake reviews with fake accounts to boost their rating. Be careful. Mold in all rooms, air conditioning and humidity control not working, bacteria in pool from ducks making people sick, food horrible and Cuba is actually better. That's saying something. Solicitors non stop at the beach and security just allows it to happen so you cannot even relax at the beach ever. They wake you up from napping. They don't clean your room even basic mopping of sand on the floor. Spend your well earned vacation somewhere that deserves you!!!!!

Tries to be a party resort and family resort but fails at both. Rooms were incredibly moldy and unclean, I couldn’t be in my room for more than a hour before feeling sick, my shower had clumps of hair everywhere and the bed wasn’t made when I arrived. Everything was infested with wood mites. Club was shut down. Bar closes at 12, no food or snacks past 11. Resort exterior was small and attractive but all amenities were fairly busted. Some food was dangerous to eat, alcohol extremely watered down (way more than other resorts), red and white wine were rancid every single night. Restaurant food was sometimes much worse than buffet, sometimes delicious. Employees were either very friendly or straight up disrespectful. Only had two nights of decent entertainment, other nights was Super Bowl replays on giant screen or useless visuals. Beach was nice but small and crowded with vendors who harass you ever 5 min. Tries to market as a 3/4 star hotel but is 2 star at best. Did not get what we expected to pay for. Excursions, good company, and weather were the only reason we enjoyed our trip.

I was very skeptical to travel to this resort due to all the negative reviews I have read. After arriving to the resort and thinking about all the negative reviews, most of them were false. I came to the resort expecting exactly a 4 star and nothing luxury. I was very satisfied with my week there. I travelled with a group of 12 people and none of us had complaints other then 2 rooms, we were unable to change the temperature of the AC unit.
Rooms:
Very modern and clean, beds were stiff but still comfortable to sleep on, maids came daily, mopped the floors, changed the beds and also folded all of our clothes. AC was working.
Food:
Food was great, buffet did not have much of a variety but the La Carte had one of the best foods compared to any other 5 star resort I've been too. None of the 12 group members have gotten sick other then 3 which is when we had the powered watery eggs.
Drinks:
Drinks were great and same as any other resort. There is also a drink menu at every bar to assist you.
Service:
Workers were very nice and polite (Shoutout to Eric). The service at the buffet wasn't that great but the La Carte has amazing service and great people.

Great price for a Very good resort located within 3 minutes of Bavaro town. Good food something for everyone. Sports bar called Bar 27 exactly 50 steps away, yes! I counted the steps owned by French Canadian who has every game and sport on the tube.

Our stay was ok, but the staff weren’t as friendly as we had read about on reviews. It was March break, so they were likely tired though. Also, be cautious when booking any excursions through their lobby excursion agents. We booked 4 of us for snorkeling, but my daughter got a fever and I had to stay back with her. We went to discuss a refund, and they said they would with a doctor’s note. We went to the doctor on site and got a note for $50 US, but we were never given the refund we were promised. Very frustrating, it was a lot of money.
