To start with the negatives, rooms are showing age a little bit (but they were extremely clean) and we were in the newest parts of the hotel. And the food overall is pretty bland and bad with a few exceptions. But on the positive side, its location is perfect, the place is huge and amazing, love the 1950’s vibe of the hotel. The pool and lazy river gave us amazing fun for couple hours everyday. Water temp was perfect. Staff was incredible, the best I’ve ever experienced. Price was perfect for what we got. Great stay! Thank you! Would love to come again.

My family and I had a great time at cabana Bay. It’s very family friendly with lots of amenities for everyone to enjoy. The best part is the pool and the fire pit. I like that the pool is open until 10 PM. Our room was very clean and spacious. It had a medium sized kitchenette with microwave which was a plus for us. We did run into some problems when requesting some basic room essentials. It took a long time for room service personnel to provide us with essentials like towels and soaps. Anyhow, I would definitely come here again with my family.

Room we stayed in could’ve been a little better fixed up (from previous guest damages). Example would be the Headboards on the bed were lightly chipped of the orange leather, the furniture has light chipping around the drawers. I understand it’s just wear and tear, but it was still a very good room experience. The tram service to Universal Studios from the resort every 15 minutes was very nice. The convince of the cafeteria was nice. The 2 pools with movie nights were also very neat. Overall, it meet expectations! Very fun resort!!

This resort is very well maintained and convenient to the Universal Parks. Our room was very clean. The diner was very convenient for a quick meal. Starbucks was very nice for early morning breakfast. The airport shuttle service was very timely to/from the airport. The park shuttles come by often. We will definitely stay again!

Rooms were clean and comfortable, needs a few updates like hdmi ports and starting to show some wear and tear. The Rooms are 50's and 60' theme and I think people confuse the theme for being outdated, it was like a step back in time and really neat to experience. The only reason for the 4 star is check in and food order could be better, maybe via the app like other resorts and theme parks. With that being said Universal really needs to work on their app, its very limited on what you can do with it compared to other theme park apps. Food was good, definitely better than other resorts I've stayed at, the pizza could be bigger for families.
