The cons: Customer Service Would have given 4 stars if the bar man wasn't so rude to us when we entered the grill restaurant for dinner on the evening of Wednesday 7th February. Avoid the grill restaurant/bar at the front of the lobby if you don't want to be treated like a dog. In all my years working in the tourism & hospitality industry I've never encountered anyone so rude and inhospitable. His hostile manner really brings the place (and the mood) down. A career change might be the best option, sir. Rooms Our main feedback would be to replace the carpets as they're very dated, with lots of large stains from spillages. The pros: Food/Service After the strange & awkward encounter, we walked out of the grill bar and preceded to the Boardwalk Buffet restaurant instead, where the staff were lovely and welcoming (thank you ladies). The dinner buffet had a good selection, with fresh salads and fruit available along with hot food items. The breakfast buffet had a good selection with plenty to choose from, and it set us up for the day. Rooms The rooms are quite dated but they are very clean and spacious. We had everything we needed for a comfortable 4 night stay - lots of towels, coffee maker, TV, fridge, air con, etc. The beds are soft and we both slept very well. Location The hotel is a great base for the theme parks, and a free shuttle runs daily to these. A shopping mall can be found nearby with plenty of shops.

Trust the bad reviews. This “hotel” is absolutely embarrassing and is definitely a glorified motel. If you are not going to the parks, this is not a place to stay as just staying in the room might depress you. The rooms are extremely dated, the buildings them self are hideous and moth infested. The beds and bedding are uncomfortable. The amenities are none. The “free breakfast “ is actually LAUGHABLE. The staff definitely do the bare minimum. The location is nice, you get to see all the other hotels that are much better than this one. The rooms may not be dirty but they FEEL dirty. You will not feel comfortable or welcome at all. To management, don’t just auto respond to this. Actually try and do better.

Location, I feel is very good we had great parking. You must pull up and check in before you park so they can give you parking direction. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable , the water was hot and the a/c works. They have a little suvenior/ lite bite shop on premises. Now having said that for the price you are paying is great, now if you paying $150 per night then my stars go down to 3/5. I forgot to mention it's right off highway 4 so if traffic noise is going to bother you I guess call for a room facing the parking area. You can buy This cookie in the photo, it was delicious in the lite bite shop. I think it's limited supply for their 50th anniversary

First off I would like to start by squashing some negative reviews. This is a 3 star hotel not a 5 star resort such as the Gaylord Palms. This hotel is in a great location, right in the center of everything. The room was clean , it was a little dated ,however they are in the process of remodeling the hotel. Only one pool was open because of the renovation but it wasn't too far to walk to the other pool on site. The pool was good size and cleaner than the pool at the double tree. Everyone we encountered was extremely polite from check in until check out, especially the shuttle driver. So if you are looking for a budget friendly place to stay close to the parks and the Orlando outlet stores this is your place.

What sold me on this place was the location. It's central to everything I had in mind to do. My family really enjoyed the arcade and the pool table, we had quite a few laughs and it was great seeing the family enjoying themselves. We went to the buffet located inside the hotel for dinner and breakfast. The next time we stay again, the dinner buffet would be a pass. However, breakfast was amazing I definitely recommend it. I felt they offered a nice variety and the server went above and beyond to make my nephews birthday special. That woman is a gem. The room was standard hotel quality. Nothing remarkable. The room was clean and the three rooms we requested were all next to one another. The pillows! My goodness that had to be the worst pillow I've ever slept on. Very firm and square. I was able to get another pill from one of the other rooms we booked and those had some more give. We went to the pool located by our building but they were currently doing work on it. The walk to the other pool was about 5 minutes or so. The pool was nice and a little crowded considering that both buildings were sharing a pool. Overall my experience was very favorable and I will be returning.
