The Sens Cancun is an all-inclusive hotel. The programme consists of meals and beverages service 24 hours a day, with breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks served at a wide variety of restaurants and bars. During meals soft drinks, beer, water and wine are usually offered. Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks like water, wine, soft drinks, beer and spirits are usually served throughout the day (except during meal times).

This is a good resort! They weren't super expensive. The property was having some renovations happening while we were there. But it wasn't too bad. The beach is excellent! We had two minor complaints; the food could be better at the buffet but the other restaurants are great! Not all the bars have blenders so if you want a fruity blended drink you might have to wait in a long line.
As for the food, we wish they would embrace the Mexican culture and serve some typical Mexican food like they do on the streets. Everything was an attempt to make other types of dishes.

Lets start with the room:
1) Noisy. In the 4th floor outside there must be some kind of machine making noise the whole night. It annoys your rest. You go to holiday hotel to rest. Windows are far from good. There is a road 500m away and you can simply feel every car passing by. First negative thing.
2) Bathroom: you expect to have at least a decent shower. See the pictures and videos. The bathroom is the opposite of comfort.
3) we have an ipad but because we already used the Wifi code with our cell phones we cannot use it anymore with out ipad. No internet access for the ipad. We have some work to do and we cannot do it in our room. We called the frontdesk and the answer is: “the hotel app gives you a code for two devices. We cannot help it. It is amazing the hotel workers cannot over take what it is generated in the app. They offer to use the lobby wifi in our room… of course there 3 tones of concrete between the room and the lobby and it does not work.
4) at check-in time they offer to take your luggage to your room. Please if you want to go to the beach straight away take the luggage with you, otherwise you will go to the beach the next day.
5) all-inclusive: the quality of the drinks they offer is very poor and probably mixed with water. But finally we find one (whisky cream) that we like. We could only drink 2 glasses. All bars run out of this drink and it was impossible to get any new bottle (it was 1pm).
6) for dinner expect lines of 25 mins to eat in the open buffet restaurant.
7) if you want to eat in “a la carte” restaurant be ready to wake up at 6:00, pray and then book your table. If god wish, you will get the table.
8) if by any means you get a table. Better be a couple because if you are a group of i.e 10 people they wont be able to seat you all together. (In a hotel that hosts thousand people daily)
9) surely i miss some other negative experience! Ah yes.. the price/worth of this place is not even 1 star.
Positive things:
1) they are lucky to be in Mexico and in Cancun. Facing the Caribbean sea. I don’t need to add much to that…
I hope if you dare to come you come when there is no “sargazo” season. We were lucky there.

If I could give this place a zero star it would be too much. The food is absolutely horrendous. The staff member “Jaime” was the most ignorant unwelcoming server I’ve ever witnessed.
You will be waiting 2+ hours in line to eat food at the gross buffet.
If you want to eat at one of there “restaurants” I suggest you book 3 days before you land.
Good luck getting a seat at the beach the chairs are all taken by 7 am and you will be standing on hot pavement watching your kids swim all day.
The water shuts off halfway through every shower and won’t turn on for minutes again afterwards.
After 3 days we wanted to go home and go back to work. This place feels like a prison I would not go back if I was paid money to do so

The food is horrible and made my whole family sick.The rooms are run down with old furniture, bathtubs are old and dirty with water coming out brown attimes, the beds only have a sheet no comforter, the rug was disgusting. The hotel has only one pool which is so full you can barely move around in and no chairs by it. The beach area is very small and has not enough
chairs. You will see random dirty spots around the hotel that no one cleans. The staff seems bothered to be helping you. We tried talking to staff to fix issues they refused, we ended up going to a different resort because it was so bad.

We had a great time at the resort. We did not have any kids. Don't believe some of these reviews.
People complained about lines to get into the buffet? We had no issue. I think the people complaining about that are the kind that go for breakfast at 10am and expect to walk right in. I loved the food. The restaurants were all good except for Cocoa, that left something to be desired.
The drinks seemed a bit weak to me, so I just drank more of them! Only amateurs can't get drunk at an open bar.
The beach was so-so, but we went to Isla Mujeres, those beaches are unreal, worth a day trip. We had no trouble getting a beach or poolside bed. Again, get out of bed and go to the concierge early, and you'll have no trouble.
Our ground level room was pretty decent. The shower was cold the first day, so I asked them to look into it. It was fixed that afternoon. We had no issue with the cleanliness either.
