Overall a good stay at this hotel. Really busy and chaotic reception and lobby area at all times. They really need a better luggage storage / holding system and location, it made the checking in/out process quite stressful. Rooms were super big, well equipped and with comfy beds. Bathrooms were really clean and again very big. Breakfast buffet was another sign of chaos, it just felt like the hotel was overbooked and they couldn’t cope with the amount of guests. The buffet was large, and perfectly ample. Pool areas were fine, not too big but they did the job for someone to chill after a day in the city. I think I’d try somewhere else next time, possibly a better location and not such a corporate feeling hotel.

We stayed at Stella Di mare for 10 night so we feel we were able to experience the hotel quite well. All positive for us at a good price for Dubai. From cake and songs from the waiters on our sons birthday to returning our lost wallet we only have good words to say about the team. A big shout to Jocelyn at the restaurant and all the team cleaning the rooms. The buffet breakfast is great and we would recommend it. Even the dinner buffet is well worth the price. Unfortunately we were not able to try the spa and pool as we were very busy but it all looked lovely. They even have a play area for kids (my only criticism is it should be cleaned a bit more). Room sorted daily and water bottle and utilities added. All staff are great and eager to help. Very close to Marina. Metro is walking distance. Would I return ? Yes!

Nice welcome when we got to the hotel with a refreshing drink and suitcases taken up to the room. As we arrived late, we were given the option of having some cold meats or having lunch then following day, we opted for lunch. When we arrived for lunch, only one of us was on the list - something we were able to get sorted. We had opted for a breakfast and dinner package. Buffet food was a bit of a let down, and the food didn't look anything like they had on Instagram. However, the room service option was good and different to what was on offer at the dinner buffet. We had also opted for the marina view room and were given the 29th floor, and had a good view. However, there is a nightclub on the 31st floor and this was hugely noisy until 3am. It baffles me that in a five star hotel you would be struggling to sleep due the hotel having a club with a DJ every single night bar a Monday. We were close to asking to change rooms but we liked our view and didn't want to pack up again. The pools were good, one child and one adult pool. They have a swim up bar that you can use if you are at poolside also, however there was always a bit of a wait as sometimes the server would be elsewhere. The star of the show was the pool attendant/lifeguard who was always attentive to help guests with finding and moving sunbeds, and always on the move to help people. Parts of the hotel are needing updated, the room had paint meant for the wall on the skirtings and floor, and food stains on the dining wall. This isn't a 5 star. Overall, a good stay but wouldn't come back and is missing that wow factor.

Freezing kids & adult pool. It’s not heated so you will never get to enjoy a swim. The hotel is dated, the rooms are so small, there’s barely any space for more than 1 suitcase, it’s more like a 4 star hotel. I’ve stayed in the one in Egypt and it’s lovely, this is not. With the freezing pools (they get away with saying it’s heated because when the sun shines on it at 10am it’s warm/ so apparently it’s warm for an hour which allows them to get away with saying it’s heated) and as there is no warm pool for babies, you would think they can use the jacuzzi but it’s their policy it’s only for over 16 year olds. I have just stayed at a string of 5 star hotels where the pools were all heated and also the kids pool turns into a jacuzzi. Honestly this place is NOT worth what you pay for it. Over priced for what you get. Book somewhere else. It is not family friendly and even if you were not travelling with kids, who would want to jump into an ice cold swimming pool? 🤷🏽‍♀️ It’s noisy from 7am because there is a huge construction site next door to the property being built. I asked the concierge lady at the desk about dinner at the Atlantis. And she said she did not know anything about it and it’s only for in house guest, I was lost for words. She didn’t even want to research it and find out. How do they not know such basic information about the biggest hotel in Dubai is beyond me.

Even if it’s well located in Dubai Marina, this is a very old hotel that does not deserve the 5 stars rank. The room was very small (vs other hotels in Dubai) but the bathroom was nice. The swimming pool is not adapted to the potential number of guests. The breakfast is the worst disappointment. Each Morning, burnt pastries and disgusting cappuccino in a crowded and noisy restaurant. The only smiling person we have meet, was the housekeeper. Even at reception desk, during the check in and the check out, the staff look jaded
