Good budget hotel - quiet with no entertainment etc. I'd advise better for older couple and not so much for families with children who want to be entertained as there is nothing for them other than the pool, which is rather small. No hotel shop selling Inflatables etc (although they'd make a fortune!) so no one has anything in the pool, which was very cold when we came in April (temperature was 24⁰c but pools very cold) The location is OK- its up a steep hill so be prepared for that if you intend on walking. There is no beach close by. The sea is approx 400m away but rocky edges, not a sandy beach. If you walk about 1 mile to the left at the bottom of the hill, you'll reach the town of Hersonnossis which has a buzzing nightlife, lots of bars, restaurants etc. Similarly, walk about 1.5 miles to the right and you'll reach Malia, which everyone knows is Greece's party capital. The rooms are dated, but cleaned daily. The whole hotel is pretty dated, they are still using pens and paper booking systems and turn in the lock keys for the rooms. There is free WiFi though. The food is typical all inclusive buffet with lots of Greek specials. Very cold in the restaurant compared to outside so the food didn't always stay warm for long. Note that not all drinks are included in the all inclusive price- just lager, gin, vodka, wine and soft/hot drinks. No cocktails etc although they are available at extra cost. All in all, it's a good, budget location. If you want to be close to the nightlife etc or have young children to keep busy, I'd probably choose elsewhere.

I really liked the hotel for the lower budjet holiday and quiet location. (no luxure Hotel ) The biggest thing in my hotel room that wasn't good was the bed, which was really hard to sleep But, I got a nice room with a sea view. Housekeeping staff was really lovely. But Unfortunately, I am not going to return to this hotel again because I felt that the one memeber off staff was bothering me by asking for tips `€' all the time when I was sitting at dinner I was getting a drink from the bar or what ever I was doing. Sometimes when I sat down for a little lunch She stood on the edge of the wall and watched me while I tried to eat.. and waved money tipping Cup to me. So she make my feel no relaxed. Even though my hotel was an all inclusive hotel and on top of that I gave a tip to a woman with short black hair an older woman with dark hair who had been bothering me with a tip begging all the way every day, I gave her a tip and she was not happy about the amount and when I came back to the hotel from the trip she returned the money back to me that I had given her as a tip I think this was really rude behavior. I think that if the Manager of the hotel knew this, this woman's actions would not be acceptable because the hotel's customers should be able to relax from their vacation. I've been to many all-in hotels and vacationed in Greece before, even restaurants outside don't force you to tip. I don't mind giving a little tip to the staff, but it has to come from my own heart, I don't like to tip when I'm forced and it's made to feel like I can't relax.

quality price the best, Greek specialties, rich buffet, the staff is always there to serve, the food is always hot, and the snacks are rich, the drinks are good and the coffee, thank you, we will definitely come back

Good hotel, nice food and all inclusive. Only negative it is off the beaten track a bit, although most beaches are walkable for average person. Hotel is on a side of a hill and for a sea view you need to be on floor 5 or above, however lift only goes to first floor then lots of stairs.

Amazing staff, very kind and attentive to every need or request. Nice position, close the the main roads but sufficiently far so as not to be disturbed by trafic. The food was nice, and the breakfasts were especially great.
