If you want to see what the Greek god of fun looked like, visit the beach bar at the Rhodes Village hotel. Chris and his young team (beautiful girls, always smiling!) make great drinks! Energy, good fun, NO ONE works for punishment here, everyone loves this job... You feel like the most important guest, class - this is only at Mitsis!

Absolute shambles!
Do not stay here!
It is not 5 stars!
We have been here for 4 days and have experienced everything but 5star service. I shall list a few things we have encountered so you don’t have to experience it yourself.
1. The water pressure is ridiculous, it works during the day but as soon as everyone goes to the room to get ready for dinner you will be lucky if you manage to get a dribble out of the shower. We contacted the general manager and he came and looked at the shower for it to be working but he came and looked at this at 8:30pm but when we have gone to use it again tonight at 6pm nothing absolutely nothing. Considering this is 5 stars is appalling, you can get a better shower for a fraction of the price.
2. The reception are useless, we arrived at 1130pm on Sunday to be greeted with a huge queue which meant we were stood waiting for over an hour. We finally got to the desk to then be told here is your room key now please wait for someone to take you to your room. We stood with everyone else who had also been told the same thing to find they had been waiting over an hour for this man to show them to their room. So we had to take it upon ourselves to find our room because by this point it was past 1 am and after a day of travelling we wanted to be in bed asleep.
3. If you want quick service this hotel is not the one to go to. We went to the Pan Asian restaurant which is an a la carte restaurant and we were sat for around 20 minutes before we were even asked what drinks we wanted to then wait a further 15minutes for our food order to be taken. And even when our food started to come out they missed some of our starters and when they finally realised they ended up coming at the same time as our main!
4. If you want your room to be safe & secure then do not even bother coming here! I always make sure to check both the back door & front door every time we leave our room for obvious reasons. Also due to the fact our room was accessible for anyone made me more anxious so always double checked it was locked. The first few days of coming back in the evening and seeing our back door unlocked made me think maybe it was me or my partner but knowing that this time around I knew I had locked it and to then find it was yet again unlocked is outrageous! I have never stayed at a hotel as worse as this one. I’m just glad my partner has sense to leave the valuables in the safe because god forbid if something like our passports were actually stolen.
5. If you’re thinking of coming here to use the water slides that they advertise or the entertainment they advertise then think again. It is a building site and no where does it state this, you may by the pool and you are greeted by workmen doing electrics or other building work making you feel very uncomfortable as you are sunbathing. And the auditorium is non existent infact the entertainment they do have is around the pool which to me is not 5 star at all!
Now I understand we have gone out of term time but the fact we have still paid money and we have been to other hotels out of term time and the experience at them was a lot better, shows that this hotel should not be rated 5 stars. Please do not come here it is not worth your money!!

I want to start by saying, we're not ones to complain but I feel our experience should be recorded.
We arrived late evening after travelling all day and as soon as we reached the hotel, we were taken into a back room with the manager of the Mitsis Rodos Village hotel where we were told they couldn't provide us with a room. They said it was due to no electricity in a section of rooms and told us some rambling story that just came across as excuses. I apprecite that it may have been out of their control, however it could've been dealt with better. They had already got us set up to stay next door at the Princess Adriana which gave us the impression they knew prior to our arrival that they could't accomodate us. If they had updated us before leaving the UK and given us the time and opportunity to decide the fate of our holiday i.e. if we were happy with the new hotel or if we wanted to try and change it to another EasyJet hotel then our holiday might've had a different outcome, but I can only presume they didn't want us to cancel etc.
We felt the rug had been completely pulled from under our feet, we were so upset and just gutted, it completely ruined our first night and it ended up tainting the rest of our holiday. We didn't feel like a true guest at either hotel and so we didn't feel totally at ease - we didn't realise we were feeling this way until we were on the coach leaving and we both felt a sense of relief. We hadn't been away together just the two of us (me and my partner) for 8 years and we were so excited, it's just such a shame.
Can't comment on the rooms as we didn't see them so I've given 3 stars a medium.
Wouldn't consider booking with them again.

We arrived at the airport in Rhodes at 12:30pm on Thursday 2nd May and was looking forward to 6 days of relaxing, not realising that we were going to lose the whole afternoon to transfers and switching hotels. We arrived at Mitsis Rodos Village Hotel at 4pm and after being half way through checking in were told to wait as the manager wanted to speak with us about the booking. The manager informed us that we had to move hotels due to a lack of electricity in the block where we were meant to be staying and that the hotel we were moving to was 15 mins away from the Mitsis hotel. By the time we arrived at the new hotel and checked in it was 5:30pm at this point, we were tired and hungry. The room we were given at the new hotel was not of a sea view we had booked at the Mitsis but a view of the car park, other than that I have no complaints of the Lindos Royal hotel the staff were accommodating and friendly. But I am frustrated we lost a whole afternoon of the holiday due to a transfer of hotels, we were told by other guests that the Mitsis hotel has not had electricity in that block since February but when we booked the hotel in March we were not informed of this at that point of booking despite Mitsis having our contact details as we had booked restaurants and were contacted about having an upgrade of room, if we had known about the electricity issue we would not have booked that hotel and would have chosen a better one that would accommodate us.
