This hotel was really charming. It has multiple restaurant options, swim up bar at the pool, beach, and walkable to a mall and downtown Abu Dhabi. It was a nice change to stay in a hotel with a bit of soul.
It has a very American old school bar & saloon near the front entrance - which was kind of cute and reminded us of home.
The hotel is clean with a very intimate feeling. The rooms were quite small for an older hotel, but it was fine - and clean.
The absolute only thing we were disappointed in, is the hotel seems to market their football pitch, which is the reason we booked it as we were taking our kids to the Saudi Super Cup. During the day, we walked over to the pitch and it was locked. For some reason the front desk told us where it was but failed to mention it was locked. We walked back, asked how to access and we were told it’s actually a FIFA prepped pitch and available only for groups. The Google page literally has a photo of the pitch with a Le Meridian ball on it. Unless it’s accessible to guests, they should remove the for marketing.
However, we’d definitely stay here again as it’s a nice change of pace and scenery from Dubai. We quite liked the mid-Century charm and learning about the history of the hotel.

I cannot say anything about the room since I have only stayed over the pool for the day.
Notwithstanding, I had such an amazing and relaxing time.
Ms. Quincie and Pretty from Pool Reception went beyond expectations by providing immaculate support with genuine smiles and a lot of kindness.
I am extremely grateful from both of them and efficient communication via whats app prior to the day.
Mr. Dewar (Pool area bartender) also took very good care of me during my stay.
Food was quite taste and has been served on time
And hot.
Recommend the hotel for some nice relaxing time with family or alone.

The best hotel in Abu Dhabi. The staff especially the manager Chandra, are fantastic so kind and going the extra mile. They really welcome my parents every year. The pool and beach area are really lovely with a relaxed vibe. The food is first class with a wonderful breakfast and evening meal. I 100% recommend this hotel for the way the staff are so kind and genuinely help you.

This hotel is so old and rusty and needs maintenance badly. The window in the room was not even closing, the door was making a nasty sound when opening and closing, furniture looks very old, and so does the room. You see beautiful beach in the pictures, but in truth, there is no beach access at all. Allegedly the municipality didn’t allow guests on the beach.
The pool is old and overcrowded with sun beds on the grass. Definitely not my definition of “beach resort”.
Paid 750 aed for a superior room that was more of a 2 star hotel room. Really not recommending this hotel. Not worth the money.
Staff on the other hand was nice and helpful.

Aitinok is the best reception lady in the hotel!! She is so polite and helpful, one of the best and welcoming staff I have seen. To be honest she made our stay so much better, helped with the guidance, proper information. Rooms are good, view is good also. Recommend
