A great resort on the banks of Kandalama lake. Very artistically done in a natural surrounding. The rooms are comfortable. Breathtaking view from the pool with Sigiriya lion rock at a far distance. We also took a bird watching tour in the morning which was interesting and informative. A special shout out to Mr. Dominic, Guest Relations Executive, who ensured our stay was comfortable right from check in to check out. Overall, had a wonderful and relaxing time.

The building itself was stunning, precious views of nature, jungle and caves. Monkey spotting from the pool edge was the best. Staff was very friendly and helpful. This was a true five star experience. Very recommendable! If I ever have the chance, I will come back.

Beautiful place, inspiring architecture and one of the kindest and friendliest hotel staff that I’ve had a chance to meet! Especially Lakmi was so wonderfully kind and helpful! I also really enjoyed the bird watching + architecture tours and various spa treatments - I would highly recommend to try them all! Literally everything was 5/5! I can’t wait to return! Thank you for making my stay so memorable!

Dominic - the Guest Relations Exec - takes fantastic care of his guests, as does the rest of his staff. The building itself is subtle and beautifully melds into the hillside. The lake views are gorgeous and serene, and sometimes include elephants stopping to drink. The food is varied and generally very well prepared. Highly recommend!!

This was truly a 5-star experience. The views were great, the food was excellent, and the infinity pool was fantastic. This would have been perfect for a solo adventure or a couples vacation; sometimes bringing family could ruin the experience. I would recommend a solo venture here, or with your brother or the boys for a more enjoyable time. The hotel is pretty relaxing, and I overall liked my stay here. The nighttime live music is also great.
