Helea Family Beach Resort

We were booked into the Elissa adult only resort , however upon arrival they didn't seem to have us booked and we ended up at the sister hotel The Helea. ( we were never given an explanation ) I have to say the room with sea view was lovely. Overall the holiday was nice , apart from the fact we wanted to have a holiday free from small children ( which as the week went on there were more and more arriving ). I have to praise the staff at this hotel , they were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Especially the lovely Mary in the main dining room. I would give her 11 out of 10 if possible. She goes out of her way to make sure all your needs are met and some. Also the lovely Dimitra. Not forgetting Teresa ( who gives a lovely welcome on the door), Billy at the beach bar and the guy at the pool bar were great. They deserve all the praise for making this holiday a good one Well done. One thing I would change though is that there is no where for adults ( without the kids running around) to have a drink in the evening. Apart from that I would rate this hotel . The location is stunning and we would def love to come again.

Stayed for 4 nights end of April. Hotel is immaculate with plenty staff. Food and drinks all great and wide range for all inclusive. Only get 1 access to an a la carte restaurants every 3/4 days though which was disappointing. There's lots to do on site (kids water Park, 5aside pitch, padel, cinema, escape rooms and games room). A mixed range of entertainment that wasn't easy to know about but enjoyable when on. €15 15m taxi into Rhodes Old Town and €36 each way to and from airport. Closer to 5stars than 4, more than happily be back.

Service is amazing, resort has access to beach and couple of swimming pools, very cool. Food is okay. Rooms are bit odd, definitely something wrong with electricity, lights are switching on in the middle of a night

Hello team Helea Family Resort. It was my first visit to Greece and Rhodes. It is a family hotel and even in October it was full of families with children. The room was cozy and clean, the view on the hill was OK, cleaning and towel change was done every day, the mini bar was refilled every day as well. The housekeeping staff was friendly. The food was varied and tasty, the waiters were nice and always smiling and helpful. The location of the hotel and the distance to the airport or to Rhodes town is a big plus. I also appreciate the promenade around the whole resort where one can walk undisturbed. The beach was a mix of sand and small stones, the water was very calm and full of life. Something that could be worked on is the evening program for guests, the speakers were too loud which was quite distracting. Also the lights on the building opposite the seating shone directly in your eyes which was quite annoying. But that's not something that couldn't be improved, and it would definitely improve the overall impression. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

I'm on holiday in this resort with my wife and two-year-old daughter. At first glance the hotel is really beautiful and luxurious, but unfortunately not at second glance! 99 percent of the time the service is just bad. Starting with an arrogant lady at the reception to the always annoyed bartender at the beach bar. The only people who really understand the service are the bellhop and the waiters in the a la cart restaurants. But you can only visit this once, which is a shame because the food there is on a completely different level than in the buffet restaurant. This hotel had so much potential but it simply lacks good staff and someone to control everything. We weren't even asked if everything was okay. There is rubbish everywhere and we were even able to watch at the pool as one of the waiters simply stepped over a paper cup instead of picking it up. This no longer has anything to do with our exaggerated German cleanliness, but rather pure ignorance. The rooms are only superficially cleaned. The mirror has been smeared for days, the cups haven't been washed and a nail has been lying in the corner for days. Mind you, none of us cut our nails. Overall, this hotel could do a lot better if they considered service important and enjoyed it.
