We love coming to the grand. Service is amazing from the wait staff to housekeeping. The entertainment staff is the best. Dario is always smiling & does a great job leading activities in & around the pool. He took a small group us on a tour of the kitchen & food prep area & showed us what it takes to provide food & drink for thousands of guests. These areas were spotless & so well run. It ended with a hibachi lunch made by Gustavo. Excellent!

This restaurant is superb. They had other top restaurants in the resort but my kids loved the buffet. They can come here for breakfast lunch and dinner without getting tired. Eric service was top notch. He took special care of our family like we where from heaven. He payed attention to my spicy/ hot taste bud. Alejandro was very delightful with his services. I would come back thousand times.

Teresa at the main pool was an amazing waitress! Very attentive and always available to get what my family and I needed. She always checked on us throughout the day, as this was where we spent most of our time. Absolutely amazing!!! Jose was an amazing server at the buffet restaurant! He was very attentive and very hospitable! Always aware of needs and even catered something special for my younger kiddos. Hope we get to enjoy his service on the remainder of our trip!

The only reason I am giving it a 3 star is because of the toilet. We got a room on the 3rd floor and for some reason the toilet had a bad smell throughout our stay. Absolutely no ventilation in the toilet. The AC leaked water one night and we had to put towel on the floor to avoid kids slipping on the tiles. The toilets definitely need renovation and upgrade. Everything else was very good. The location was perfect. We were also slightly disappointed with the tacos, there wasn't that many options in terms of sauce and salsa. It was also very strange to see only pepsi throughout the resort. We personally love cane sugar coke and really looking forward to it.

We stayed at Grand Park Royal Cancun for the second time. We came back due to the good service and great food options that are given at the hotel. They had daily activities in the pool/beach area all day. Maria Jose kept my kids hydrated all day long along with other people in the poolside. Jose Luis and Ivan were our severs for the breakfast/lunch time buffet. They both are really hard workers and continued to keep our table clean. They brought everything we needed without any hesitation. We also had a really great server for dinner, Jorge. Jorge had a positive attitude and was very helpful in many different ways. I really appreciate all the help he gave our family during our stay! Now let’s talk about the CONS! Poolside definitely needs more chairs or shade area! It is very hard to find somewhere to sit near the pool since everyone reserves their chair with a towel early in morning and leaves it there all day. If you have kids, then this is something to think about because you do not want to sit in the sun all day! ONE thing my wife and I did notice was one of the managers at the dinner buffet. ERICK! I understand you’re a supervisor and have a job to do, but he made us feel uncomfortable during our stay. He is constantly putting the employees aside and giving them a talk. It is VERY obvious he is getting them introuble due to them being so serious after their talk. I was able to feel the TENSION in everyone that works during the night. One night, my wife waiting in line for food for approx two minutes. There was no one in line at the time. 4 people got in line but started making a line on the opposite side of where my wife was standing. At one point, Erick came by and told my wife she was on the wrong side of the line and needed to move. My wife had to go the end of the line and wait even longer. Due to this we decided to leave and go to the taco bar. While at the taco bar we asked the server if Erick comes around and she said no. While she was talking to us, Erick came by and asked the server if everything was okay. She completely had to stop talking to us and continued to take our order. I forgot her name but she gave great service despite the situation. Erick, I am sorry but you need to stop feeling like you can boss everyone around. I believe the servers are grown responsible adults to know right from wrong. There is a time and place for you to speak to the employees. Servers should be able to talk to families as we feel more comfortable and welcome.
