Arturo our Butler at the Family Selection was just outstanding. Anytime we need anything he made it happen. The entire team at the nest restaurant was incredible. The service and food quality were excellent. Miguel and Mario are super bartenders and have taken care of us. Armando the manager at the nest truly knows how to make someone feel special! Thank you for an amazing vacation!

We’ve been to Cancan 6 other times at other 5 star resorts and this one definitely takes the cake. The best part is the service, everyone has gone out of the way to help me and I’m in a wheelchair, and the food has been great even the main buffet which normally gets old after 7 days. Rooms are big and clean. We upgraded to the Family Selection and the butlers for your floor are like family honestly. We are coming back next year for sure.

My husband my son (6) and I have been coming to this resort for the last 3 years and this is our 4th time going. We love coming back every time. We were always against becoming members of hotel clubs (ex. Timeshare), however we became members of the travel club the first time we went there and we are very happy with our membership. Last year my husband and I went for a quick getaway to another of their Palladium resorts in DR and kept comparing that resort to the one in Costa Mujeres, which we love due to multiple reasons but mainly due to the great service we receive every time we go there, the attention and different activities for the kids. We just came back from a 10 day stay at Costa Mujeres Family Selection and so far it has been the best experience we’ve had. It’s not a perfect place, but we (my husband and I) and our son (6 yrs. Old) had an amazing time. A few minor hiccups during our stay were addressed promptly - Special Thanks to our concierges Nathaly and Maykelind for always being on top of all our request / feedback and addressing our concerns in a timely manner. Maykelind for going above and beyond of what we needed. One night we were running a bit late to our dinner reservation and she contacted the restaurant and obtained approval from manager to accept us for dinner past 15 minutes of grace time. We enjoyed having breakfast every morning at The Nest, where they made us feel very welcome and part of the family. Special thanks to the General Manager Javier Ruiz, Mauricio, Dagoberto and Angel who remembered us from prior visits and provided us such excellent service. Also the Manager for the afternoon and night shift Armando always greeted us and made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. I would say The Nest has the best friendly and servicing staff. And I can’t forget to mention Miguel the Mixologist! He is extremely talented and we pay him visit every day at 3:30pm for our daily drink (one of many :) ). If you ever find your self near The Nest after 3:30 make sure to go and see Miguel for one of his wonderful mix drinks… “the Carajillo” and “El Porteno” are the best! Highly recommended. This whole team made our stay very remarkable. Lastly but not least, the staff at the Family Selection Pool. First of all Yajaira, she is so dedicated, passionate and loving with all kids. She really takes care of all the families at the pool making sure everyone is doing well and taken care of. Every time my son saw her he would get so happy and would go up to talk to her as she was very special with him. The Hotel should be aware of her value and how she is a real asset to the team. I would say she is one of the Highlights of our stay. BTW my son keeps telling me how much he misses her.. Our waiters Carlos and David were amazing also Bartenders Ricardo and Francisco. Our last dinner was at Chang Thai, where they made our last night at the hotel very memorable, Diana and Chef Rodolfo helped us close our stay with such delicious food and great service. I would like to highlight Javier once again, the general manager at The Nest. He was also a key player on our stay, another highlight. Always making sure we were comfortable and going above and beyond making our son feel special. Thank you for all the love Javier! :) The girls at the Family Section Kids Club, Amy and Olga also do an amazing job with the kids during the day activities and during the afternoon shift while my husband and I enjoyed a few adults only dinner. Thank you girls! Also worth mentioning Helios’s Chef Angel, Guadalupe at Boghali, Jesus y Jose from the inside transportation. Overall the Hotel has a very modern and beautiful look, great service. There is room for improvement such as some of the rooms have a slight humidity smell and our least favorite restaurant was el dorado, for a steak house it could use some improvement.

Wonderful family destination. The Family Selection package has made the trip fun for the kids and easier for the parents. Josue the supervisor is very focused on families and our butler Luis has helped us navigate the many options. For the parents, the spa and the tennis make the whole thing feel like an adult vacation also.
