I stayed at the resort in April 2024 and had a wonderful trip with a group of 6. We had an Excellent stay here at the Excellence Riviera Cancun! Some members of the staff made this trip what it was. Starting with Antonio at the Pool, giving us great service to our chairs and always being a lot of fun and giving great energy! Veronica at The Lobster House, was also incredible and gave us incredible service! She was such a bright spot on our trip! And lastly Chef Oscar at Spice, the Hibachi restaurant was the best entertainment of the whole trip, he put on a very fun show and great food! The rooms were also so fun to come back to in the evening as the staff did a great job of decorating the room!

Overall my husband and I love this resort! The staff is incredible and the entertainment is great!
There are so many restaurants on property and they are so good! Agave was our favorite and Amelia, Mauro, and Marco had amazing service! They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! They even had the chef come out and talk us through a customized dish!
We will definitely be coming back!

We felt like we were the center of the universe. The beach service was the best. Javier kept us with drinks. Angelo and Itamar were so much fun with the volleyball and ping pong. Aaron made our experience at the French restaurant amazing. The onion soup was the best I’ve ever had. The housekeeping staff did amazing too. We never had a speck of sand on our floors. Would love to visit this place again!

The service at the hotel is probably one of the best out of all of the all inclusive resorts I've been to. All of the pool side waiters are super attentive.
The resort is a bit dated but it's still a great resorts. We had a the roof top terrace room, and we had AC issues. Thankfully the front desk switched us to a different room
This place also has the amazing food in a restaurant and buffet styles as well.
The beach isn't the best. The seaweed is really bad making it not great to swim.
Overall great hotel, just not a place if you want to swim in the ocean

We had an exceptional experience at the Excellence Riviera Maya from the moment we arrived. The staff was incredibly professional and so kind.
We got the swim up room with direct pool access and a private day bed. The room was beautiful and clean. A/C worked well. The room had no noise and was secluded. We slept like babies!
The restaurants had delicious food. Our favorite was Spice. The service and food were top tier. The host Rodolfo was kind and took such care of us!
We have been to many resorts and Excellence beat them all! We are already booking are next Excellence vacation at one of their other destinations!
