My family and I stayed here for 10 days during spring break and had the best experience! The employees were so friendly and attentive always there to help or grab you a drink. I would highly suggest getting the upgrade to the Club Level, access to the rooftop pool was such a nice experience. It is an adults only area (our whole group was 18+), it is a bit calmer area and the views are stunning. We ate at all of the restaurants they had on site and had nothing but amazing things to say about them. The food was delicious, the drinks were amazing and the staff was so attentive and kind. Our rooms were large and had a comfortable king sized beds in them. The patio had a nice set of chairs and table, perfect for your morning coffee. The activities they have organized around the resort are also a nice touch, they had everything from beach volley ball, pickle ball, surfing, tequila tasting and so many more! I cannot recommend this resort enough, we had a great time!

I stayed at this hotel and was seriously injured. When I was playing in the pool, a golf ball hit me hard on the head and I fell down. There were children in front of me. My daughter was worried about me and cried as I collapsed with bleeding from my head. No situation is funny. Since then, I have been suffering from dizziness and headaches. I plan to file a complaint with the hotel once the diagnosis is complete. Most importantly, we told them that the chairs on the golf course side should be removed. However, they did not listen at all and continued with their business. Isn't the hotel your primary concern? This hotel is not safe. When playing in the main pool, you must be careful of golf balls. When I collapsed, some of the staff laughed and told me to use your insurance and go to the hospital. I appealed to hotel it is natural for the hotel to pay. I left the hotel in a dizzy state, but no one, not even the manager, came out to see me off. I was impressed with the quality of the staff at this hotel.

Worst part about this place is unfortunately the location, which is far from the hotel zone and In a gated community you can't really leave, and if you do it's kind of ghetto outside anyways.
The beach is on the small side but we always got seats even walking up late. Hammocks in the water is so relaxing! The pool is very long, spans the hotel width, but very shallow as well. A deeper area would have been nice.
Food is mediocre. Drinks as well. Not terrible but reading other people's reviews I thought it would be amazing. I've stayed at lots of places and it's very average. The steak house stood out to me as especially disappointing with only sandwich steak available to order without ridiculous upgrade fees. I actually ordered the salmon and it was so dry I think if I poured water on it it would have sucked it up like a sponge. Best meal I had by far was Sea Bass at the Asian restaurant (was catch of the day on the menu).
Room are really nice, above average and modern including amazing washroom with a 6 person shower.. Literally the best shower I've seen on vacation.... Wish I had that in my house! All rooms face the ocean which is nice as well. Minor complaint the maids would reset my thermostat every day (I assume, would always happen after house keeping) to their default temperature of 75 while we preferred it around 70. Felt like a tug of war.
Lots to do for kiddos, for adults not so much... Flow-rider (surf machine on premises) that should be on way more than an hour a day. Having said that the golf course looked really good, we just aren't into that and from every time I've inquired at other places golf is very very expensive down south... But it is available and looks really nice.
The entertainment I really found well above average. They had an "electric" violinist who was there twice in the 5 days we spent who was lights out amazing. Their break dance show stood out as well, were saw another one at another place a week later and it made the other show look amateurish in comparison.
Like most good places I've been to the staff is top notch, please remember to tip! They work so hard here it really shows.
