The staff needs work for the amount of money this hotel costs. No one is nice. Our plane had mechanical issues so we arrived pretty late about 10:30 PM and I had an 2 year old asleep on me. When we arrived they were very very rude. We also had to wait over 30 minutes for my daughter’s crib to arrive even though I called called three times before and asked them to please have it sent to the room early. We also requested to be somewhat close to our friends (maybe within the same building it’s okay if not right next door) or the building over, and we called about that twice too, and left a note in our reservation. However, they put us on complete opposite sides from each other at this resort. On day two they were able to switch us, but then we packed up the entire room had to let our kid nap in a pack n play in our friends shower and were without a room for four hours. We wanted to be by our friends so that we could have baby monitors and switch off for date nights. One of the days I left my key in the room and I walked all the way up to the lobby to replace it and they said it’s a $50 charge for losing the key. Then I explained but it’s in the room and then they said OK and gave me the key. I don’t get the point of this, are they just trying to get extra money? The keys cost like $.50 and he gave me a new key within three seconds. They were not very nice about it though. And the digital key option isn’t even working right now. We tried to sit outside at a table at the Mexican restaurant and the restaurant was totally empty not even busy, because we only have three toddlers and four adults, but they said there wasn’t enough room at the table. However, the table sits 6 adults. There was plenty of room. We sat at the same size table at the other restaurant the night before just fine. We had to eat inside, and it was not a crowded restaurant at all more than half of the seats were open. I just feel like everyone is really mean and rude and doesn’t accommodate you at all. Foods not bad, beach was okay, maybe April is the wrong time to go but it wasn’t crowded at least. Go before or after spring break never during. The hotel room is really nice however, I think all the staff need work.

We stayed at this location for four days for our honeymoon and were absolutely blown away by the amazing food options! I mean, you aren't typically going to an all-inclusive resort for the food, but I was impressed. We spent pretty much every day by the pool and had the most amazing service by Edher A. He was so attentive to us and would bring fresh drinks before our cups were empty. He was prompt in taking our drink orders and anticipated when we would be hungry for food, always offering anything that we could have wanted. Poolside was a paradise because of how special he made our experience! He is also very knowledgeable in the restaurants at the resort and even helped put us in touch with the hostess for a romantic dinner at the seafood restaurant, totally going out of his way. The real reason I'm giving the review five stars is truly because of him! We will be back next year to use our free anniversary stay and hope to see our friend Edher there!

This resort is simply amazing. Everything from the grand entrance all the way down to the beach was really thought out and beautiful! Looks to be a newer resort. We stayed at Secrets next door so can’t comment on the rooms. The food is excellent just stay away from the buffet as it wasn’t very good. The layout of the pool is quite nice. Possible the nicest I’ve seen at any resort. Just didn’t like that the kids area with the splash pad and waterslides was all the way on the other side away from the main pool. The lazy river was fun but we were the only ones there at the time so I’m sure the vibe would be completely different if it was more populated. Maris is delicious and has the perfect view for lunch/brunch/dinner. Steakhouse was a disappointment. Fusion was surprisingly very very good. Overall awesome resort. Came as a big group with my company at Secrets but would consider Dreams to take our kids one day when we decide to not go on a cruise that one time.

First time ever visiting Mexico and this resort did not disappoint. It’s all inclusive and something I had to get use to. Overall, would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone who needs a vacation. If you prefer no kids, their sister property Secrets Playa Mujeres is perfect for a quiet relaxing week by the ocean.

This resort is beautiful! I’m surprised to read other reviews about the service because the staff here were fantastic and accommodating from the moment we arrived! Our group was myself, my mother and my 20 month old We were in the preferred status. I lost our room key and they were very accommodating at replacing this with no mention of any charge. The room itself was beautiful. Modern, clean and provided all the amenities. We had an ocean view room and I will say it was a side view so not right on the beach but it was still lovely, however if that’s important to you I would state that at check in! The food was excellent. We are both raw fish (ceviche, tuna etc) & cooked food and never had any problems. We went when the hotel was operating at 60% capacity so never waiting in line at restaurants but I could see in busier times how the wait wouldn’t be ideal. The hibachi was so fun! My toddler loved it! As we weren’t at capacity we had no problems getting beach chairs anywhere anytime of day. The preferred Bali beds were gone by 7am if you didn’t go down early to save them but I think that happens at any resort you go to! We did have someone come around in the morning to ask our room number to ensure we were preferred Big shout out to Alberto in preferred he went above and beyond for us he was fantastic and made us feel like family!!! All the staff was fantastic and friendly and went above and beyond to help us in every way! There is a doctor on-site ($200 usd if not covered by travel insurance) which was reassuring as a mother to know there was a doctor on site! The hotel I also felt very safe at! The resort itself is beautiful and the staff work so hard to keep it clean! The pools were all clean - not heated but on a hot sunny day it was refreshing. We did have a overcast cooler day the pool was too cold but they have hot tubs! The kids club (although my son was too young to use) looked fantastic! The lazy river and kids splash pad is tucked away and not in the most ideal spot for adults to enjoy the atmosphere of the pools in the resorts but for a few hours there’s chairs to lounge in! If you were thinking of having a wedding here they had weddings every night and they were all beautiful! It would be an impressive place to bring guests The beach is also beautiful white sand! The ocean is the ocean, so it’s not calm but safe to swim in. Bar service for preferred on the beach but the bars on the beach are not far from the chairs so easy to go up for drinks! No one is selling things constantly on the beach which was nice! I’ve been to a couple other all inclusive resorts and this one is number one so far!
