Stayed here for 5 nights and had a pleasant and comfortable stay. Spacious rooms. Although the hotel is relatively old but it was well maintained, good room service. Check in and check out were quick and comfortable. Breakfast spread was good in Spice Island restaurant. TVs and Bathrooms could be improved.

Hotel is old and dirty , it’s shows as 5 star but does not even qualify for 3 star. Its better to stay away from this hotel. Arrogant, Pathetic front desk and service. We booked 3 rooms for the family all of them were untidy and old , no renovations, bathtub was poorly maintained, air conditioning was average with no ability to control Temperatures.It was tough as we were with small kids with us. Breakfast was good with lots of variety to choose , bell boys were good, Room service through front desk was very disappointing, I called for a bottle of water and they sent it to my room after 40 mins and 3 reminders. The guy who delivered the bottle told me that the lady at front desk didn’t inform him. Look for other options before considering to book this hotel if you want to enjoy Dubai vacation.

Recently visited Spice Island restaurant for their Easter brunch and all I can say is the food, ambience and service were amazing as always. We come here at least 3-4 times a year min as its one of the best brunches in town. Highly recommended. Special shout out to Mary Ann and Aby who took excellent care of my group on Easter Sunday.

The hotel was very aged , the whole place was in need of a refurbishment. There was a walk in closet with just 2 hangers. After asking for more some cheap wire hangers were quickly supplied. The television was dysfunctional and the soap, shampoo dispensers needing re filling. After a day of waiting for cleaning and replacement of water bottles the front desk was informed. 3 hours later upon return nothing had been attended to! Lights in the room were impossible to control, it was all or nothing!! Add to that it’s located in a grotty part of town. ( booked by a travel agent) Bell captain was unhelpful in finding a taxi. The only bright spot was the coffee shop where the food and service was consistently good!! I am not sure if it’s outsourced. All this for $300.00 a day which was not worth at all.

Only reason for giving the two stars is for the good breakfast every morning, otherwise the entire experience was unpleasant in this hotel. First room we checked into, smelled really bad so we requested to be moved to another. Staff did assist quickly and moved us to another room. The room didn't smell but after we settled in, we started to notice all the wrong things in the room. The drain in the bathtub is clogged from accumulated hair and the same goes for the vanity sink. We requested for someone to come up to fix it but nothing happened. TV channels mostly not working and no one fixed it after reported. No Hair dryer or iron until requested. Building is old and walls have water damage or moisture. Not worth it at all. Very disappointing.
