Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok

What a lovely hotel, we decided to upgrade when we got there, how often do you get to stay on the Bangkok riverside, seemed a waste not to have a river view room. It was only like $30 NZ to upgrade per night. We were so pleased we did. The room was huge, it was a great room, but the views across the river just made it! They were fantastic, we could watch for hours all the activities going on along the river. I just wish we had a deck we could sit out on to watch. all the party boats, cargo etc. At night it was a beautiful sight with all the lights. One of our goals was to go to breakfast, apparently amazing, but we never made it. We did have dinner outside by the river edge and really enjoyed the food, service and views, even the screeching Karaoke across the other side of the river, was a bit of a laugh. We walked to the train and boats and malls; it was a great location if you are up for a bit of a walk in the sun. But sometimes we took the boat service they ran every 30 minutes to the Sathorn pier and from there you could catch other ferries or the train so it was easy to get around, plus they went direct to icon Siam mall 4 times a day, so very easy to get around. The pool was a nice area, the staff there were great, you got a fab view of the river at one end. Plenty of loungers available and pool was a nice temperature to cool down. It was not crowded. They also had a nice cafe in the foyer, where you could get coffee, breakfast, and cakes, pastries. 711 30 seconds away, I would definitely come back. We visited in March 24

Quite disappointed with my second stay at the hotel. I was kept being disturbed by noisy neighbors during stay so I had a room change. Even with the room change I was being disturbed by house keeping coming in and out of their staff door near by the suite and talking loudly in the mornings. Also the upstairs guests staying up till midnight making noise. Just beware that your stay will constantly be disturbed by them as they will be very loud while cleaning near by rooms making all sorts of banging noises. I understand that room needs to be made but they can do it without making so much noise and disturbing other guests. I don’t think I’ll be back at this hotel because I’ve been sleep deprived during my stay here… The shuttle boat was also not working during my stay Even with it being my second stay here I don’t think I’ve been looked after very well.

I stayed here for work and found the hotel to be everything you would expect from a five-star place. The rooms were nice, but what made the experience great was the staff - everyone I met was incredibly friendly, helpful and kind. The breakfast was also notable: one of the best selections I have seen in any hotel. Nice neighbourhood as well - not too busy but you can walk to everything you need. During the same trip I stayed in another five-star hotel in Bangkok and it was not nearly as good. Next time I’m here, I will come back to the Chatrium.

This hotel in Bangkok is one of the best! I highly recommend it! The breakfast is amazing with a lot of options to choose from - European, American, Indian, Chinese, and Thai food! The location is perfect, the bed is super comfortable and you can't hear any outside noise at night! We will definitely come back!

Very happy with our stay at Chatrium. Great service, we celebrated our wedding anniversary and they really made our stay special! A Big thank you to the team at Chatrium 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Room was big and clean with comfortable bed and pillow, quite ac, coffee capsule machine in room. Great view over Chaopraya river. Breakfast had a lot to choose from 👍🏼 Definitely recommend staying here!
