This place is beautiful! The staff was all incredibly polite and helpful. The rooms are incredibly nice and clean the bed and pillows are the right kind of form. The location is terrible, it is away from everything like local dining and such. Here's where my review will get a bit bipolar, the food. All the food we are during normal dining hours was pretty bland and not what I would call 5 stars. However, we arrived back from work roughly 10 minutes before one of the restaurants closed and the manager had already closed the kitchen, but offered to make us fried rice and holy cow was that amazing! I wasn't expecting it after what we had experienced during the day, but it was awesome for him to take care of us after hours and all with a smile on their faces. To summarize, the property is beautiful, the location sucks, and if you can talk the kitchen staff into making you fried rice you're good to go!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The scenery is beautiful and there is wildlife and nature all around, along with a white sand turquoise beach. There are beach cruiser bikes to get around or golf carts to take you around- we did not wait long and found it easy to navigate the property. Food was good, service was great. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Shout out to Antonio and Armando for their top notch service on the beach- wonderful people. Already planning our next visit back!

I am someone who loves a small resort that has easy access to leave so I can explore and walk around. That changed coming here, it was so amazing to be here and pretty much experience a full ecosystem - spider monkeys, iguanas, bats, coatis, birds, and more. Perfect stay for 4-5 days and I highly recommend the all inclusive as EVERYTHING is included and all we paid for during our stay (besides tips and souvenirs). Rooms felt super clean and they even came to clean our room twice a day! We never lifted a finger and service was impeccable. Antonio and the other servers at the beach were 10/10 bringing us mini bucket coolers with ice, water and beers when they saw us coming while laying out beach towels for us. We love the beach and although Cancún orTulum might be more blue waters - the beach is extremely clean and you have free Kayaking, Paddle Boards and Snorkels. Food was 100/10 super fresh and amazing! Fresh squeezed OJ, fresh pressed tortillas, fresh meat and seafood, fresh fruit! I highly recommend placing ur dinner and excursion reservations (Cenote tour and Boat tour were 10/10) before you get there just to get it all out the way and you can just enjoy your time. Sovaneto is a dinner on the beach and I recommend going at least twice for dinner bc that's how amazing it was to get fresh grilled meats and seafood right there w your feet in the sand. Casa Amate was also an amazing vibe and I recommend the duck. I never waited more than a couple minutes for a cart at any given time or place but you can also call for one if you need. We would bike early in the morning (avoiding the heat) to the beach and the ride is truly incredible and took us less than 10 minutes. The VB has a little shop inside, you can ride to a town El Pubelito on the resort, and we got suveniors from some girls at the beach. We went early May which was perfect as the resort seemed pretty quiet and empty with always ample room at every restaurant and beach/pool chairs. Sorry for the longwinded post but all things I asked myself before I came!

Just got back from a week long trip at this hotel. Great amenities and beautiful private beach. Also the food offerings were plentiful. Where it falls short is the hotel layout. It’s spit between a lagoon and beach. Both areas have hotel rooms and restaurants. But to get from one to another you have to take a golf cart or bike. When we called for golf carts they take 15-30 min. I tried to call one from my hotel room many times but just simply do not head my request. When I requested them from employees around the property they said they come every 7 minutes which is simply a lie. We spent lot of time spent hunting for golf cart transportation. Lastly, be careful what you order and letting them know what you are allergic to, as they make substitutes to food without really caring. We ordered a sandwich for lunch one time and they substituted an item for alfalfa sprouts which my wife cannot have without telling us. When we told them, they said we didn’t tell them that was an allergy restriction…this was very odd.

This was an all around great resort. The nature is lovely.. My 8 yo daughter enjoyed the kids club. I enjoyed the spa..the beach is overcrowded and not spacious ..there are loungers on top of one another ..golf carts are scarce so you may have to walk more than expected. It is a wonderful place for familes...we had fun!
