First of all this hotel is in a prime location, and most of the staff is very nice. With that being said, get ready to pay more at check in. While checking in you get hit with not one but two more fees, the “resort fee” and security deposit. Me and my wife stayed 5 nights and this turned into an additional $720 due at check in. By the way the lobby has a very odd smell to it that is unpleasant. After the check-in fiasco we make our way to the very small elevators that only hold four people or two people with luggage. Get ready to wait a while too! Rooms are very small and look like landlord specials, the “I know someone who can do it cheaper” remodel is awful. Showers are extremely small with no shelving, we had to place our shampoo and things on the floor of the shower. The beds are very noisy and uncomfortable. Get ready to hear every door slam and conversations in the hallway. I don’t think the walls could get any thinner. The lighting in the bathroom and room are very poor for woman who need to do their makeup. In the pictures you will see “Brand New OYO Time Square” don’t let that fool you, it’s a half a$$ remodel that was never finished. Let’s make our way back to the resort fee, for what? The on-site restaurant that doesn’t exist or the on-site fitness center that doesn’t exist either?? This resort fee is a scam! Beware of this hotel!

The rooms are tiny - they fit a bed and nothing more. I requested a mini fridge from the staff, who were excellent about bringing it immediately and the man who set it up was so incredibly sweet, I was quite charmed! But that ate up even more space, so when I rolled out of bed in the morning, the first day or 2, I inevitably banged my shins trying to get around. The shower is incredibly small as well, fitting the theme of the room. I couldn't imagine there being 2 people comfortably in this room. The window looked on to absolutely nothing. It didn't even seem to get outside light. But my biggest complaint is actually the elevators. There are 2, but one is basically right next to a construction zone, so the wait is in a very dirty hallway. They are incredibly slow and fit probably a max of 4 people with no bags. I wish there had been better access to stairs on the way up - I would have chosen them instead of waiting in the line of people trying to get back to their rooms.

No drinks or food of any kind in the hotel, but I liked my room, it was cleaned daily, and for a hotel in Times Square I thought it was remarkably quiet. Very convenient for many famous areas and landmarks, too. Literally, walk out of the entrance and you're in the middle of Times Square.

This is not a four star hotel. No amenities not even a coffee maker or ice maker. The bed is so uncomfortable. I feel like I’m in a best western with less amenities. Paid for the room in advance and still getting charged more money and was not told to begin with what they were charging until I saw on my cc and asked them. So disappointed that I’d like some reimbursement.
To the owner who responded. There will be no next time. I asked for clips to simply hold up the window shades that have been clearly broken for years. Still nothing. We have to roll them up and push them into the window sill to get daylight. There isn’t even a desk or a chair to sit on. If you want to make this right, give me some of my money back

Conditions at this hotel were unacceptable. I will however thank the front desk they tried to assist as best as possible but they are not to blame for the piss poor conditions of the property. Now to get down to the issues: walking to the elevators it seems as if there was unfinished construction happening which should’ve been a give away of what’s to come. We get to the room and the door and it was loose as if someone had attempted to kick it open at one point…entering the room we were greeted with a funny odor which we found out later there was mold growing in the corners of the room. The walls were filthy and damaged…I immediately called the front desk and advised. They let us know the hotel was fully booked and they had no other room to offer us but could try to accommodate the next day. We tried to wait until the morning, but the straw that broke the camels back….The shower did not drain at all and I had to stand in 16 inches of water in the shower.. The room was NOTHING like the photos online and the manager admitted that was a problem and corporate is aware. Tv only had access to 5 channels and no wifi. We checked out the very next day. Horrible hotel and how dare they charge these prices in time square. I will NEVER come back. BEWARE!
