Shangri La's Le Touessrok Resort and Spa

From the moment we arrived until the sad time we departed, the team at Le Touessrok was truly exemplary. Having traveled extensively and stayed at many premium hotels around the world, I can confidently say that I have never experienced a hotel where the entire team was so perfectly trained to meet and assist every need a guest may have. After a grueling 12-hour flight, the arrival team welcomed us wonderfully. Our room was ready immediately and prepared to perfection. Each of the restaurants, including the buffet, delivered amazing levels of cuisine. The beach and poolside teams responded to all our requests with a smile and a constant message of "nothing is a problem, you're on your holiday, enjoy and relax." The live entertainment at night was wonderful and varied, and the spa treatments we experienced were heavenly. An attempt by myself to offer the bar staff a drink on the final night was met with a polite dismissal, with the bar team explaining that it was their job to provide us with drinks to enable us to fully relax and enjoy our holiday. The only slight mishap we encountered was with a boat trip that was booked by the concierge. Through no fault of the hotel or the concierge, our boat had to be changed at the last minute, which meant we couldn't quite complete the itinerary as promised. However, when the concierge happened to ask how our day went upon our return, I mentioned the slight issue, not as a complaint, but to provide feedback. I stressed that it did not detract from our overall experience. The concierge immediately apologized and said the hotel would look into it. Despite my protests, explaining it wasn't necessary, later that evening Nathaniel, the Duty Manager, found us in the restaurant and personally apologized. He explained that they had arranged for the boat trip to take place with the full itinerary the next day! This amazing service and attention to detail summed up the whole experience for us. Our next destination will be chosen based on the availability of other Shangri-La Hotels, and we will definitely return to Le Touessrok.

Frankly, we chose to spend our honeymoon in Shangri-La and I was the best decision we have ever made. Starting from the welcoming staff by the gate and entrance to the top management of the resort. Net and clean, high level of privacy. Room service and kitchen are the best Honestly, the beach is not suitable for swimming which is the only negative thing

Good beach (not good for swimming to be honest)and sea view from rooms. Service was fast and staff were well supportive, polite and helpful. One thing bothered me the most was the art pieces hanging in the wall! They were all nudities and not suitable for a family resort! I will completely understand if it adults only resort! I hope they will do something about that!

One of the best properties worldwide! Whether it’s the location, the hospitality, the food or the staff it’s a 10/10 honestly. The best thing is the staff and the hospitality they provide and the efforts they take to make your stay worth every penny. Highly recommended.

Incredible resort! We only stayed for one night due to a flight cancellation. Hotel feels super private despite being a large complex. Adults only pool was divine and the beach was really clean and well kept. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also really good! Only critique would be that the floor in the rooms were really slippery even though we didn’t get it wet? - it was quite dangerous ! And I got bitten a few times so wear bug spray!
