Overall very disappointing. Our experience led us feel this was definitely not a 5 star hotel.
Pros: Hotel grounds are lovely and peaceful, rooms are a good size (although a little tired), and everything lovely and clean.
Cons: On two days we wanted to sit by the pool. First day there was not a single sun lounger free, not one, so had to hang around the pool and wait for someone to leave. Ended up with two loungers between four of us after an hour, so two of us had to go back to the room. No pool towels at the pool - none! Similar experience second day, only managed to get three loungers, so my two teenage sons had to share a lounger. Made it feel like a cheap 3 star hotel.
Very long waits at the pool bar and restaurant. They had run out of some real basics - coke, ketchup etc.

Beautiful hotel. Higher spec and luxury than we expected. And good value. The staff are super friendly but there are challenges over the organisation. We waited repeatedly for service at the pool / bar for over an hour at a time. Breakfast is a scrum down. 5 out of 7 coffee machines were never working, not enough plates or bowls - or seats! As a result we are outside of the hotel. We did go during Ramadan so hotel was very busy. Oh and the peacocks were pretty but very noisy living outside our room from 5am!

Extremely disappointed with my second stay here. I was hoping for the same great experience I had on New Year's 2023, but unfortunately, there were multiple issues during my 3-day stay.
One day, my room was only half-prepared, with no towels and a bed that was haphazardly made, with sheets and pillows strewn on the floor.
Furthermore, the breakfast service was chaotic during a rainy day, with over 50 guests waiting in line. The staff was unable to handle the situation effectively.
Additionally, in the poolside restaurant it takes hours for them to attend to you, pick up your order, and bring you anything you've requested. For example, I attempted to enjoy a beer at the bar, but after an hour and interacting with three different employees, I still left without my drink. On another occasion, we sat at a table for over an hour, which hadn't been cleared from the previous guests and still when while we were eating still didnt clear it. As a result, when it got windy, glasses and bottles began falling and breaking, yet the staff left them on the floor. This level of disorganization and inefficiency is deeply frustrating and detracts from the otherwise relaxing ambiance that a place like this should provide.
Lastly, I booked and paid for two 60-minute spa massages, but they ended up lasting less than 50 minutes, which was highly unprofessional.
Overall, my experience was negative, and it's a shame that the hotel is no longer able to maintain the high standards I experienced during my first visit.

I’ve stayed in many 5 star hotels in my life, and this hotel gives 5 stars in design, but 1 star in service. Only good service was provided to bring us to our hotel room.. Lahsim was super polite and helpful. Everyone else was not. As soon as we arrive we were instructed to fill paper work and were promised a tea, no tea was provided. Felt like we were being rushed. Hotel dining was very slow also. Took 20 mins to bring water to table. Hotel grounds and pools are beautiful. Outside gym is a nice touch. Hotel staff are a bit snobby and rude - and the service was really slow. No one even came to help with bags when we arrived… and hotel room seemed like it wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. There were finger prints on mirrors and glass in shower. Upon checking out - the lady asked how our stay was. I gave her my honest opinion. With no apologies, she proceeds to ask me to write her a good review online and include her name so she can win a competition…?

Brilliant family resort in great location, 10 minutes from the airport, so there's no rushing around. The buffet has some great food. If staying full board, I would advise you to gain clarity on where exactly you can eat your different meals.
