Better than I expected. Food is fantastic, we had breakfast included and paid extra for dinner. Wi-Fi is consistent (it’s usually very flaky in these large complexes), the rooms are modern and clean. The service and entertainment (Friday kids show) is excellent. Even the on-site shop is decent. Parking on-site is not ideal (there is a specific car park nearby, but it’s often full); however being off season (May’24), street parking was easy to find.

I chose the hotel mainly for the location, a bit at the side of the city, but still close to the seaside and it turned out to be a fabulous choice. A sandy beach is approx. 10-15 minutes away and the stroll is really nice. The hotel grounds are big and there's a couple of buildings that are part of the hotel. It is VERY kid-centered, so that's a plus for families. While I prefer a more quiet alone time, the situation was bearable to me. The rooftop terrace is adult only, so if you're like me, use it! There's also a seperate adult only restaurant that serves meals, so I could see the effort the hotel is making to accomodate the needs of childfree customers. There was everything you might need for a relaxed day on hotel grounds: restaurant, bar, pools, sundbeds, gym, saunas, indoor pool, spa, hotel activites - and a few minutes away at the promenade, lots of restaurants, cafes and shops. The room I was staying at was spotless clean and had a nice view. The beds were super comfortable. An additional perk is a guest-only parking available for free. A nice touch was a bookshelf next to the reception with books left by guest, I assume. It was a nice collection in many languages, so if you want to refresh eg. your German with a light read, grab a book from there :) Another nice touch was that the hotel and pool area is a smokefree zone (although I saw guest smoking on balconies, so I guess it's allowed there).

I enjoyed my stay of 7 nights. Great hotel. My girlfriend and I didn’t like the bed and had trouble sleeping after a few nights because the bed was way too firm. I never sleep on my sides, but I had to turn because my back would hurt too much. The gym in the hotel is already pretty good, but some dumbbells up to 20-30kg and an extra bench would make it a lot better. The threadmill could use some maintenance. We don’t have kids and we liked the adult only breakfast area and rooftop bar. The cocktails at the rooftop bar were not great, way too much ice. Cocktails at every restaurant we’ve been to were MUCH better. Sauna and steam were great. Breakfast is pretty good too.

Fantastic hotel, ideal for families with children. Rooms and area outside is very clean. I wish I was back to this hotel again in the future

Facilities of the hotel far surpassed my expectations at the price level. We were there on a cycling holiday and they have a secure underground storage area that was perfect for our road bikes. We stayed in the apartments which were clean and spacious. The complex is large - indoor and outdoor pools too. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again when next in the area.
