Great for families with children, also younger ones. Also, people who just want to relax and don't want to do anything but lying at the beach or at the beach. As the hotel offers a lot of activities and entertainment programs, you better not mind that this place is a little busier and louder during the evenings and early night. I was surprised by the high quality and big variety of the food in the four restaurants you can choose from.

We booked a family room for 1 week over Easter. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Hotel facilities were very good with plenty of different types of pools. The food and drinks were very nice and all the staff were super friendly. We caught two shows in the amphitheater and saw an acrobat do things that should not be possible. The main attraction is of course the beach which is literally a stones throw away and offers some stunning sun sets.

We stayed here as a family of 5 for a week and didn't want to leave. Kids enjoyed playing at the waterpark every day. My husband and I enjoyed a couples treatment at the spa. Entertainment at night was great for kids and families, the circus show was amazing. Not to forget, we all enjoyed a fish foot spa. Food was great and something different for lunch/dinner every day. Cocktails were very tasty. Staff were so friendly and helpful, especially the bar staff who remembered you and what drink you liked. Beds were comfortable and rooms were serviced everyday. Even a laundry where you can wash and dry your clothes at no cost if you do it yourself (need to pay for detergent). The only issue was not the resort's fault, but other guests who were not respectful/considerate by being loud or talking/laughing in hallways late at night outside our door.

This wonderful hotel with a waterpark and five pools delivered quality from day one. We went for the fully inclusive holiday package with Jet2 from Bristol into Heraklion. It is about a 4 hour flight but the plane was clean, good legroom, well stocked and happy staff at check-in as well as on board. The arranged coach transport met us on arrival in Heraklion and delivered us to the hotel. Because we arrived at about 20.45hrs, the hotel had laid on a beautiful buffet supper which suited the meat eaters and veggies in our group. Top marks to Janis( the Restaurant Manager) and his team. The choice of food from the kitchen during our stay Is some of the best I have tasted, and this praise applies to all meals prepared at the choice of eating places on site. There is Asian food, fast food for the younger age group, Greek Taverna and local dishes, freshly grilled fish or meats, the list is endless. Drinks are included with local beers and wines on tap and a brilliant choice of branded soft drinks for those who prefer it. The cocktail bar is something else with Annastasia working her magic to produce your choice of tipple. She also had a wonderfully wicked sense of humour! Branded spirits are included in the holiday price so a G&T before the evening meal wad most welcome, whilst a Greek Metaxa brandy brought the interlude to a happy close. The rooms were airy, and our balcony overlooked the Olympic sized swimming pool which is used by different countries as a training venue. This pool is heated but is an adult only pool unless youngsters are being trained. If you choose to explore, Heraklion is only a 30 minute ride by bus. These buses are really clean and comfortable with on board staff speaking English, so you won't get lost or get off at the wrong place. Fares are really cheap and bus travel gives you a chance to meet local people who are very friendly. And last, but not least, a really big thank you to our table service staff ( especially Christina) who took joy in teaching our grand- children Greek over breakfast!

Lyttos Beach is a great hotel. Our family stayed in early April 2024. The quality of food and drinks for the all inclusive was great, there were very few added extras. There are 5 restaurants, the main restaurant and taverna serving mixed buffet with daily specials, an oriental restaurant serving sushi and Chinese that needs to be pre-booked, a fast food style bar in the waterpark and a snack bar by the beach. All are buffet style. There are so many pools it's crazy. The water park was the kids favourite and was a good size with 8 main slides, a kids play park which looked great for the little ones and a lazy river. There were also 2 olympic size pools, 2 smaller pools and an indoor pool. Many of the rooms had private or shared pools too! Even in early April most days were around 22° and fine for sitting round the pools, the water was not too cold. I'd definitely recommend
