I can’t possibly give this resort a worse review. You know how they tell you not to drink the water in Mexico? I can assure you the experience from drinking the water is better than the food or drinks at this place. I don’t understand the 4.8 review, what a crock. Don’t waste your money here. Also, it rained on the third night and nearly flooded the resort. Video attached. Service has been horrible, Juan our housekeeper doesn’t know what I mean when I say “extra towels” and Juanita walked in while I was in the shower with my wife. Unacceptable.
It’s a beautiful resort, but in all of the ways you want an all inclusive to be enjoyable, it’s simply horrid. I’ve had more enjoyable moments in a doctors office. 0/5, and don’t waste your money.

This is our second time at Lopesan and both times have been wonderful. All of the staff is very nice and will go out of their way to please. There is food and bars located all throughout the resort but Darlin, in The Valley, is by far the best bartender. We met him during our first stay in 2023. He made us specialized drinks (recipes he created himself) and made us feel comfortable all evening. We saw him again in 2024 and the experience was just as good, if not better.

Just came back from a glorious Spring Break week at Lopesan. The all inclusive food and drinks were outstanding. Absolutely no complaints. The staff was beautiful, kind and happy. The hotel was impeccable. It was so clean and fresh. We paid extra for an ocean-view room and while technically ocean view, it really overlooked a parking lot. I went to the front desk and asked for a different room. Despite being at 85% occupancy, they quickly found me something that worked for our family with a stunning view. Anytime there was a slight issue (and there weren’t many) the staff quickly worked to resolve it and ensured we were satisfied.
I highly recommend this spot. It was so great.

This was our second time at Lopesan! This time we had Unique and didn’t regret. Also the best thing is to get a swim up room , my family really enjoyed it . Thank you to our butler Jose Santana he was always there when we needed help, especially getting out of the hotel on that rainy day. He’s very professional. Also big thanks to the staff at Unique Beach club, Atlantic buffet , they’re amazing . Tony at Gondola restaurant , big thanks for everything.

Decent resort - service needs to be improved a lot to make it a better experience for visitors. Food is ok at best. But the resort itself is beautiful - literally the only thing that saves it is how beautiful and picturesque the grounds of the hotel is. I probably wouldn’t visit again even with all the beauty.
