I have had such a lovely stay, the staff were all so friendly and attentive especially Christina and Syied (the amazing bell boy). Such a great verity of food and drinks and many places to go and do on the resort! Will definitely be coming back in the summer months to take advantage of all the pools and recommending to friends and family! The rooms are perfect with a beautiful sea view! Thanks to all the amazing staff and club Cala Barca!

Given the price, this was really disappointing. As soon as we arrived, we got the hard sell for an upgrade. The upgraded room was identical to the room we were given, which was also, apparently, an upgrade (more on that shortly) except right in front of the music stage and with a walkway right in front of the patio door, where our 3 year old would be sleeping. We declined. Our upgraded room was a one bed apartment with no fridge or facilities. There's an apparent wine cooler but it didn't work. We checked through our order, after a couple of nights, and realised we had paid for a 2 bed apartment. So they upgraded us to a worse room. However, both rooms reminded me of the type of place I stayed in on lads holidays when I was 18 . A child had clearly plastered the rooms, we had 2x single beds in both rooms, which is great for maintaining a social distance from your wife unless you want to wake up on the floor in between them. The sofa broke when my 3 year old sat on it. The balcony door, on the second floor couldn't be locked from the inside, jot ideal with a toddler, and when we asked for it to be fixed they did, so that when we went onto the balcony once she was asleep, it self locked so we couldn't get back in. The bath plug was rusty. God knows how it got 4 stars. The flip is that the staff were great, bar the hard sell front reception. The kids activities are really good and all the staff are friendly and try. The location is remote, which is great for some but bad if you want to explore a little. For all inclusive, food was reasonably good. However, it's really hard to enjoy the above bits when you think you've booked and paid for a four star but you are getting a 2 star room, at best. The hotel did repay us a bit for the mix up on the rooms, which had we not used a travel agent, I think we would have struggled with, and we used this to stay in another 4 star hotel for a break from this place, which was genuinely a 4 star and made a holiday from our holiday...

Had a lovely stay over the weekend the staff made us feel very welcome and friendly especially Christina and Syead (bell boy) honestly such lovely people!!!! the rooms were lovely with beautiful views, the food was very good lots of variety, will definitely be coming back!!!!

We spent 3 days in the hotel and everything was good. Specially the staff! Animation team was very friendly. Our kids were super happy. We will be back

We really loved our stay. The location of the hotel is just right. The resort is private and very beautiful, but not far away from the city. The employees are very polite, nice and helpful, especially the waitresses Linda and Eva. We were very happy about our accommodation as well. The room was big, modern and always clean like the rest of the resort. I was very pleased to see how they care even about the little details. Food was great and very diverse thanks to the four restaurants that the hotel has. The entertainment team was also doing a great job with a lot of fun activities also for adults and great night shows, especially the show Adams Family. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and we would highly recommend this resort.
