The staff and service were amazing. Unfortunately, the food and drinks were unbearable. The drinks were extremely watered and we went days not even experiencing a slight buzz. The food was always cold, even when we sat down for dinner and was prepared freshly from the chef, it was still very cold. We actually survived off the Ceasar salad because everything else was so bland and unbearable.
Also, the rooms, elevators and building are extremely HOT. The air doesn’t work well throughout. We had to purchase small fans to keep us cool. The elevators and buildings had absolutely no running air.
I still rated 4 stars because the resort is beautiful and the staff were amazing. If we were to stay here again, we would bring our own bottled water, alcohol and beverages. Our room was awesome! Amazing view, we had the best beach view. We slept on our balcony, it was so relaxing.

One of the best locations we visited, they upgraded us to a room facing out to the ocean, and had them in it is that we were looking for. There were plenty of restaurant options so that you don't feel that you're having to eat the same places to walked in and the on-site gym was incredible. We were able to do some CrossFit style workouts they are the only other suggestion I can make about that is get a decent real squat rack. The rooms are large as were the bathrooms and most importantly the staff was so genuine and warm and very accommodating we will definitely go back.

The hospitality of the staff is immaculate, I can't say enough nice things about the staff of Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall. They make the experience what it is, and truly care if you're enjoying yourself.
The food was okay, the jerk at most of the restaurants wasn't spicy/favorable at all which was disappointing. Restaurants are hit and miss, and very difficult to get into at night ( make reservations for dinner in advance!) Also, depending how late it is the "complimentary room service" is the only thing open but doesn't serve alcohol, and one of the nights had an over 2 hour wait.
The biggest complaint were the rooms. When we arrived we checked into our swim-up suite and found we had faulty air conditioner, a broken mini fridge, dirt on the floor and the room REEKED of mildew. We told them within an hour and unfortunately they had nothing they could switch us to until the following day. Once we were moved we then ended up in a room with a broken bathroom that was never fixed. For a stay that cost as much as it did, it was incredibly frustrating to not get any money off of the rooms ( they were only able to provide resort credit, which can be used in the Spa, on cabanas etc.) If you're able to get a swim up room in good condition, they ARE a really nice bonus.
I will say the safety and care for the guests was impressive. Even when we went on an excursion with someone from off site ( Troy from gmtoursjamaica is hands down your best option for a driver or tour guide!) The hotel vetted him, got his information, and made sure they knew how to locate him.
The pools, and beaches are all well maintained and fun! But swim up bars are only open until 6 pm which was disappointing.
All in all we had a nice stay, but would look into other resorts when we return to Jamaica.

The rooms were very nice & the view was beautiful. The staff & all the employees were exceptionally nice. The food was amazing. The only thing I wasn't very happy about were the pillows in the room. Those made it hard to sleep & I kept waking up. Other than that, the place is gorgeous!

Pros:
Restaurant variety, and lots of seating out near the ocean.
Beautiful pools!
Rooms were clean and beautiful.
Nice workout facilities, two-level gym.
Lots of seating areas.
Loved the cute coffee shop!
Karaoke night was our favorite!
Hibachi was my favorite meal, so delicious.
Cons:
Can’t walk along the beach, guards mark off where your resort begins and ends and you can’t go off campus walking.
Housekeeping service was a bit slow some days
Lovely place! Would love to return someday!
