Hotel was lovely overall and very clean. No complaints with housekeeping either. The location was good and close to both the beach and the strip and a short walk from Adeje. We went bed and breakfast only and found the bars reasonably priced and the drinks were good. We did have a couple of problems. First, we paid to use the spa and would not recommend it. The pool was nice but are not many facilities. The jacuzzi upstairs next to the outside pool is better than the one in the spa. Also none of the experience showers were working and one of the steam rooms and one of the saunas was closed too. The changing rooms are very small and consist of lockers and chairs -leaving no space to change. Second, At breakfast one of the coffee machines was not working which made for very long queues for a drink. Our main problem is that we both got food poisoning and after some thought, have put it down to the breakfast. My partner had the meat at breakfast on the Thursday and by the afternoon it was clear he had food poisoning. I did not have the meat that morning and was fine. Initially I thought he had gotten it from eating out somewhere else so on the Friday morning I had meat at breakfast (he did not as he still had no appetite). From that afternoon I became unwell and was being sick constantly for 24 hours. Between us, we lost the last day of our holiday and a very bad trip home. This sadly ruined it for us and would not return because of that alone

Hotel Gala- Just came back from a week staying at hotel Gala. We enjoyed our stay but did have some issues.. Food- plenty of options and always something for everyone, however it’s not labelled properly so had to use some guess work. We did venture out for meals a few times as we did begin to get fed up. Room- we were initially given a room on the ground floor (even though we requested a high room) it almost felt like we were underground and the room was very dark with no sunlight at all. Staff were happy to find us another room but this took some hours the next day.. this ruined our first day unfortunately. New rooms air con then didn’t work so another issue but staff quickly fixed it. Location- great location, 5 mins from beach, bars and restaurants. Pool- lovely pool and plenty of sun beds everyday (the hot tub was great!!) Overall a good stay but won’t be returning unfortunately

The food they serve is cheap and of bad quality. Found insects in the salad. They do a bad job serving, my son asked for pineapple juice and they gave him apple juice. He is allergic/intolerant to apple. They told me they would delete it from the receipt, but they didn’t. The coffee they serve is absolutely awful. The location of the hotel is good, but that is about it, everything else is mediocre. Will not comeback to this hotel.

Great Hotel Helpful and friendly staff, great service. Good location close to the beach, with 24 hr supermarket and pharmacy across the road. 2 fairly big swimming pools + smaller one for kids. Impressive gym and spa facilties. Fun daytime and nightime entertainment. Quality of food was excellent, although not much choice for vegetarians/vegans. Highly recommend

Reception staff were brilliant couldn't have been more welcoming, room was spacious and was cleaned every day. We used the spa and it also has top marks. But unfortunately I could not give you full 5 stars, the food in the restaurant was very mediocre, we were half board and ate out most evening or made sure we had a substantial meal at lunch ( we ate mostly salad in restaurant it was only edible thing we could find) Lastly the restaurant staff...what can I say... the Manager and Maitre de really need some customer service training, I was appalled at their behavior, please remind them we a guests not cattle, growling at the diners when approached really not welcoming,
