Well past its sell-by date.
All the staff we met were lovely and the view of the sea crashing into the little bay was great. Unfortunately, it is all undermined by lack of investment by the owners.
The large bed was very comfortable, but:
- the balcony rail was falling to pieces
- room flooring had pieces missing
- bathroom mirror had lost a lot of silvering.
Even the furniture in the reception area - surely the showpiece of any hotel - was worn and scuffed.
The buffet food (breakfast and dinner) suffered from poor quality - under-ripe pineapple, over-ripe bananas, tinned vegetables. I was able to see the chef-guidance for some dishes - it wasn't being followed.
A mediocre hotel with mediocre food. Great front-of-house staff let down by their managers.

It was a nice hotel. The check-in was very quick and smooth. it was nice of them to give an early check-in at 12 noon on a higher floor. The room was a normal standard one. The view from balcony was quite good. Since we stayed only for one night and left early morning next day, we could not use various facilities of the hotel. Its location was very good, very close to the beach and promenade. Worth staying...

We choice this hotel to celebrate our anniversary and must say the Management and staff were very polite and friendly. The hotel is situated in a nice location with short walk to the sea and major supermarket. There was good choice for evening meals, the only thing I would say that they did not have a dress code which made it less special, unlike you would dressed up to go for a meal out to a restaurant. The pool are was nice and not too busy, but the only issue we had was the pool side attendant was not very good,he lost our ticket for the towels and than when I told me about some German girls smoking at the pool side he didn't do anything and it made unpleasant for us to relax and catch the sun. I would have given it 5* if the pool attendance was more attentive.
All in all a very decent hotel to stay in.

Having returned again to the Sol Costa Atlantis after my first visit in February, I'm was so pleased and happy to be back. Everything was still as excellant as it was from the first visit. This for me now is my home from home as I have booked a further 3 Trips including Christmas, and another is imminent. My room had stunning views, the variety of food, fabulous, staff and service excellant, and there was nothing they wouldn't do for you, even down to the cleaners making you feel so comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel. Also where it is situated its near everything you would want, shops, restaurants for that lunch out if you wanted, and in general a lovely place to be. Can't wait to be back, see soon

Thoroughly enjoyed a week at the Sol Atlantis. Rooms good, cleaning excellent and the food buffet (for both breakfast and dinner) was among the best I have experienced. Pool is close on 25 metres meaning you can have a proper swim. Health spa on roof another plus.
