Really nice hotel, the villa was nice too, but the sofa bed was not useable. The island is great. The beaches were pretty but not really good for swimming nor snorkeling. The food was okay. There is not really something for vegans for dessert. The chefs prepared me something we I asked for, what was nice. Going on a hike was nice. The bathtub in the villa was great!

This resort is truly a paradise cocooned in the pristine blue waters of Seychelles. We stayed there for our honeymoon in December and needless to say this was one of the best hotels we have stayed in! The staff has been extremely helpful and responsive ever since we booked the place and made sure our honeymoon was memorable. The trip to the hotel is through a ferry which takes less than an hour and is an experience in itself. The waterfront pool villas will surely transport to a reality from which it will be hard to come back to your regular life. The villa opens to the beach and you can see some of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets all while walking on the smooth sand with no signs of habitation for miles and miles. The villas come with bicycles that can be used to tour the resort and come in handy while visiting the 4-5 restaurants they have on site each specializing in a different cuisine. We also booked ourselves a private dinner in our villa and the food was simply delicious. We will most definitely be back to this paradise on earth.

We were really uncomfortable here and happy to leave. Our beachfront villa (215) always had people in front of it, sometimes standing there staring directly into our villa. The beach attendant stacks the extra chaise lounges there and garden villa people use them and park themselves there all day. I’ve never seen that before. Usually that area of the beach is reserved for people staying at the beach front villa, but the hotel was full of impudent Germans… Not a very relaxing, secluded atmosphere. More of a busy all-inclusive vibe, which is not our thing and not what we travelled to another continent for. I asked to be moved MANY times, but they just don’t care… Standard reply of “we don’t have anything else available” over days… Which I know simply isn’t true. They just don’t care about making guests comfortable. The level of service for 5 star hotel isn’t there. They are busy enough not to care and they provide a 2 star service and get away with it… In addition, the room was dirty and cockroaches were crawling over our bodies while we were sleeping in the middle of the night. Good luck with a restful sleep! The housekeeping attendant was very annoying, kept ringing our bell asking if he could bring anything instead of just doing his job and cleaning the room thoroughly. All in all, a very regrettable experience. Please, save your hypocritical stock responses, you had every opportunity to make things right and chose not to do so.

Hilton asked us to check out at 11am. We called and asked to give us some more time as both of my kids have stomach issue. I actually couldn't believe when my husband told me Hilton simply replied "no". I called the reception myself again and explained everything in detail and asked them to help us and give us some more time but the lady just didn't want to help. She said the villa must be ready for the next customer. I don't understand, the check-in time is 2pm and it wouldn't take them 3 hours to clean according to our experiences during the staying. I told her HIlton is the only hotel in Silhouette Island and there is nothing else but the jungle on this Island. We basically couldn't go anywhere else to let our children use the tiolet and shower. The whole conversation doesn't change her mind at all, but she offered us to use the public facilities like pool area or spa. We got everything ready for checking out at 11 but the buggy only arrived our villa at around 12. Kids were suffering and we were not happy at all. We chose the spa but the shower and toilet are both outside and it was raining that day. I can only say this experience is catastrophic. Other than this, I would say the restaurants are well organized and staff were friendly. The beach is very wavy and the sand is mixed with stones and dead coral which can cut your foot. The massage from the hotel spa is not very skillfully but the staff are friendly. I don't recommend this hotel as it's quite risky when you need help as Hilton is the only hotel and otherwise only nature on this Island.

Stayed here for 10 days in February. It's a beautiful island filled with nature. We saw loads of land crabs, hermit crabs, small green geckos and fruit bats. The beaches are nice with soft white sand, however the tide is often quite far in, and the large boulders are only at one end of the beach near the Spa. There is a giant tortoise sanctuary inside the resort, and we had fun feeding them one morning. The service was excellent, the cleaner always made sure we had everything we needed in our room, and we were served quickly in all the restaurants. We stayed in a beachfront villa and it was quite spacious despite being one of the more basic room types. There wasn't a direct view of the beach though as there is a tree in the way, and most rooms seemed like this. We could hear the waves from our room which was nice. The food in the Asian and Italian restaurants was amazing, I particularly liked the Beef Rendang and Lamb Rack. The Creole restaurant, Grann Kaz, has a lovely atmosphere and an interesting exhibition, however we felt the food here was quite bland and lacked spice. The buffet was a mixed bag - the street food night was great with loads of options and cooking stations, however the other nights lacked variety and only had a handful of hot dishes and one cooking station. It was quite tricky to get a reservation at some of the restaurants as the reservations open up at the weekend, and if you arrive during the week, they are all booked up. However they did manage to find us a table at a restaurant when the buffet did not cater to our dietary requirements (fisherman's buffet as we don't eat seafood) and to celebrate a birthday (they provided a cake as well which was nice). Lunch had an extensive a la carte menu which included pizzas and burgers. Breakfast was OK, I liked the fresh coconut water and eggs made to order, but some hot items like hash browns were not available every day. We did some scuba diving at the dive centre. Everyone at the dive centre was really friendly and the dive boat was spacious and comfortable. There wasn't a huge amount of stuff to see, but we saw quite a few batfish and also a lemon shark briefly. We also did the unguided short hike. The viewpoint at the end was amazing, but there is alot of steep, uneven stairs to get there! The only real downsides were that it did rain alot during our stay in February, and there are alot of mosquitos about, which don't seem to be deterred by DEET or natural repellents.
