Honestly hands down one of the best places I have ever stayed. Myself and my partner have come back this year for the 2nd time as we loved it so much the first. The location is great, not far from airport, beach 2 min walk and 10-15 min walk to the main row of restaurants. Also bars and restaurants nearby but we had half board so ate mostly at the hotel. Food at the hotel is excellent quite a lot of variety! We opted for an upgrade on the room to gold level this year and worth it. The perks and extras you get are well worth the money. You get access to an exclusive pool, bar with certain unlimited drinks and snacks. We can even go in the spa to use their facilities. However year before was still as great when wasn’t golf level with the side sea view room if you want the cheaper holiday :) The rooms are clean and beds are comfy. Staff go out their way to make you feel welcomed and are so friendly.

The hotel is stunning, very grand and luxurious. The food and drink was delicious and outstanding every morning and night. A big thanks to Cosmin for being a brilliant and charming team member, who always made us feel welcome, as did all the others. Surrounding areas are lovely and well kept, the hotel is in a great location just a few minutes walk to the beach. Pool area nice and spacious, always guaranteed a sun bed and a relaxed vibe. We required a wheelchair accessible room, the room itself was spot on. Plenty of space to maneuver with a roll in wet room which worked perfectly. Wheelchair access around the hotel however does need updating. There are steps down to the spa, which meant we could not use the welcome spa voucher we were given as it was not accessible. The rooftop bar is also only accessible via a flight of stairs. These are two of the main luxuries of coming to this hotel, and not being able to access them purely because of wheelchair access seems to be a big problem. We have missed out on opportunities because of the lack of access around the hotel. We also booked a trip to the zoo, we were reassured the transport would be accessible, however the bus turned up with no access whatsoever. There needs to be clearer information for wheelchair bound users when booking excursions. So all in all, a beautiful hotel and surroundings, brilliant staff and lovely rooms, just needs a little work on the access side of things.

This is such a wonderful hotel. The position is ideal for immediate access to the promenade and beach. The saltwater pools are great and plenty of sunbeds to be had at any time of the day (no wars!!). The staff are extra friendly and helpful across all areas and it is nice to be remembered as a returning customer. Food selection is especially varied and more than sufficient both at breakfast and dinner with unique cooking stations offering freshly cooked items. Dinner is particularly varied and the desserts are to die for! Overall we look forward to our stays and can’t wait to return.

I am sad to be leaving Spain after a wonderful week at Gran Tacande. I spent a week here alone and cannot recommend it enough. ALL of the staff are super helpful and friendly, the services excellent and the Spa is probably the best Spa I’ve been to. With my package I spent 2-3 hours a day there and it was wonderful, I regret not having treatments but there are only so many hours in the day! The hotel is in great location for the beach and whilst I didn’t go out at night I always felt safe here. I have a gluten allergy and the staff were knowledgeable and accommodating which was such a breath of fresh air. Whilst I didn’t partake in the entertainment, there was a full program of events daily and the Gold level pool area was peaceful and had excellent service. The room was super comfortable and I would highly recommend having the balcony hot tub. Thanks so much to all the staff for making my week relaxing and easy, I would highly recommend a visit and would definitely consider a return trip.

Our first stay here. We are a couple with a 3 year old and a 4 month old. Half way through our stay. So far great experience. Great hotel with good service and great breakfast and dinner buffets. The gym is good and the beach is close. The kids room/nursery at the hotel could have longer opening hours (it's open just a couple of hours per day) but the Mini Disco for kids at 8 in the evening is the best and Stephanie is amazing with kids of all ages. And the parents get to join and play as well. We look forward to more mini discos and highly recommend them. The hotel pools are big and nice but can be a little cold for toddlers. All in all a great hotel and we will most likely stay here again in the future.
