The staff was very friendly. We paid for the premier club and it was well worth it. The pools and water slides were great. They have several food options, and I highly recommend the taco truck by the lazy river. I gave a four star for service because on two different occasions house keeping took our towels, but did not leave us with fresh ones.

Do not stay at Dreams Macao Beach Resort Punta Cana! They lie and they steal! I went for a wedding I was apart of, we arrived on a Friday. At time of booking and time of check in 2 queen beds were requested. We get to our room and it’s a king size bed. We were told we would get a new room Saturday, Saturday comes no new room. Just a rude man at the front desk getting mad at me as if I was the problem. We never got a chance to get comfortable our entire stay because we kept getting told we would be moved. We were not moved until our last day at 7pm as if being moved mattered at that point we were leaving early in the morning. It wasn’t until I started reading the reviews that I noticed they do this often give people any kind of bed, pull out couches or cots. I also ran into a couple who said they were given 2 beds when they asked for a king, it made no sense to me because we could have been switched, but it seems like this resort enjoys doing this kind of thing. And I also noticed a lot of reviews saying money and jewelry was missing from their rooms. Which made me check my money and guess what 35 dollars of my money was gone. I had been keeping all my important things on me since I never got to unpack or get comfortable. Rushing to get ready for the wedding I left my money at the bottom of my suitcase underneath all my clothes and shoes, it was inside a purse that was inside of another purse. Which means they went through all my things. When reported an investigation was done and I already knew from other reviews of course they didn’t find anything or solve it. Stay there at your own risk who knows what kind of room you will get. The lights in the bathroom did not properly work and the AC is horrible at night.
The food and drinks were really good. But after arriving home most of the wedding party had stomach viruses and food poisoning. If I could give this resort 0 stars I would. Do not stay here!

This is my 4th all-inclusive resort, and Dreams Macao Beach is the best I’ve experienced. The buffet was the best, with fresh meats and fish all grilled to order. The beach was the best and most beautiful, with natural cliffs and landscapes along the coastline. The pools were the best, constantly cleaned and maintained. The music throughout the resort was the best; mostly instrumental and unobtrusive. The entertainment staff was the best, with guest participation events during the day, and truly impressive shows every night.
Dreams Macao Beach is really the whole package. I really can’t wait to go back.

Never ever… We didn’t like it! We booked 3 days, but stayed only 1 and even Changed airplane tickets! Didn’t like the Hotel at all! The beach looks good, but there is no way to swim (waves, reefs). Food is bad, the pools are simple, towels smell disgusting. Everyone is selling services (preferred club!) or items to you: on the beach they are selling pictures, sunglasses, drags also… they offer to my husband when he was with a kids! I saw the cut nails in the floor in our room… it was not clean. Nothing to do with the kids. The greeting fruits had mold on it.

The room was very clean as were the grounds. The food was okay. I’m not sure how they could make the food any better for the volume served. The buffet was about like a Golden Coral in the states. The Mexican restaurant was what you could expect and not bad at all. The 24 hour coffee shop had great coffee. There was always somewhere to get a beer or cocktail. The internet, electricity and hot water were GREAT.
The beach and pools were good. All the staff was pleasant and helpful and treated us well. Tips were not solicited, however your stay would be more pleasant by tipping the staff 😉.
Bottom line: If you are well off $, find a resort that caters to the really rich folks. Otherwise come here, be happy, and enjoy your stay here.
I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO A FRIEND.
