The location of the hotel is perfect, the pools are nice. We visited in May, so luckily, we didn't have to fight anyone to get a decent spot at the pool or beach(sunbeds at the beach are charged extra). Staff is very friendly and service was great. Cleanliness +++
Biggest disappointment- Food. It could use a serious upgrade. If you're a foodie like me, you will be disappointed in the buffet options. Half board doesn't include drinks with meals!! Except for a bottle of tap water. This needed to be indicated more clearly while booking! Minus points for this.
Our room was also too small for 3 people. There was not enough storage space. Nice view, though, and evening entertainment was great. Entrainment staff was amazing and super friendly. Kid's club was a great perk. We loved Raquel! All in all, we would come back just for the views and location, but "all in" is not worth it imo, unless the quality and food choice is upgraded. Also, basic drinks need to be included with meals that you payed for! I don't need fancy cocktails or alcohol even. Some coffee, sparkling water, and soda would do.

I stayed at The Barcelo Aguamarina in the 2nd week October of 2023 towards the end of holiday season. We'll all I can say was I had an amazing time.
I walked into the Hotel and spoke to the receptionist in Spanish and she was taken aback. She replied back to me English and said thank you for speaking to her in her native language. From that moment onwards she spoke to me Spanish helping me out if I made any mistakes.
After checking in I went to my room which was amazing. They room overlooked the sea which was breath taking 5*
Quick change and straight down to the beach which is accessed through hotel.
All the staff are amazing they are so friendly and always ready stop and chat to you. Also another chance to practice my Spanish.
Food was on point and a vast selection at breakfast through to dinner. Also snacks avaliable at most times of the day.
To cut a long story short this hotel is amazing. I cant think of anything to fault this place. I will be returning. Thank you for an amazing time and making me feel so welcome

I was visiting a mate who was staying and the place is really nice. Location couldn't be better with a beachfront ground floor and lift up to reception on street level. I paid for dinner, which my pal got as part of his AI. It was 25 e and was faultless. Very busy with a lot of Spanish tourists and splattering of other nations, food was predominantly Spanish, except for some obligatory pizza. I tried small bites of most of the offerings, and every single one was excellent. I especially liked the beef cheek stew. If I ever stay here again I would make a b-line for this place above others.

Location is perfect! Rooms are clean - but there is no trash bin in the room. There is a small one in the bathroom, that’s it. Food is good, but even though we were all inclusive they started charging us for drinks which is not specified anywhere. Elevators are not fully working - so if your room is on 7th floor good luck! One morning i woke up at 7am to go to pool side, and there were towels on the sunbeds already!

Hotel has direct access to beach/Cala. Pedal boats and paddle boards available to rent at a reasonable price.
Food and local drinks were the usual hotel standard.
Night entertainment was enjoyable. Although they are amateurs we were lucky to catch their interpretation of the greatest showman. They all got a standing ovation.
We were a party of 6 with an age range of 2 to 71.
