Then we have left Mallorca and Hotel AluaSoul Palma. when we saw our room we were very disappointed. 1. our view was a brick wall 2. when we wanted to upgrade it was flat out no, it was fully booked, we spoke to several guests and they absolutely did not think it was fully booked.
The older woman at the front desk was not nice. service was not there. cleaning of our room was under all criticism. although the bed was made and the towels changed. but the floor was gritty and dusty. But the best thing about this hotel is the service from the restaurant and the staff there and extremely fine class on food, food, and service. big kudos to the restaurant and floor staff.
No air conditioning. we didn't dare to leave the balcony door open at night when we lived on the first floor. ants in the room and a big crack in the patio door

We decided to seek some winter sun, and this was a great find. The hotel is less than 20 minutes from the airport, and on arrival, we were offered an upgrade. The My Favourite Guest Club offers a superior room, access to the roof terrace, a stocked mini bar, and a club room with a range of snacks and drinks available from 9am to 9pm. We were really glad we took up the offer, which was good value for money.
The hotel, which has modern decor is in a great location. There are good links to the island's capital, and the walk from the cathedral along the coast is lovely (mainly flat). There is also the facility to hire bikes directly from the hotel and the cycle route is a must for any type of cyclist.
The staff have been really helpful, attentive and friendly.
The breakfast is comprehensive and the food in the restaurant during the evening was good quality and competitively priced.
