I have recently returned from a week holiday at The Akasha hotel & spa, WOW! - where do I start!: Because this hotel really is as good as it looks in ALL the photos. 😊 My daughter surprised me with this holiday treat due to a significant family death & she literally could NOT have chosen a more perfect hotel or destination. The private beach is kept immaculate, the terrace & the upper swimming pool area are both beautiful too. The food is exceptional with a live cook at both breakfast & evening meal. The choices are phenomenal whether you wish to remain healthy or wish for a holiday treat - there’s truly something for everyone & everything is absolutely delicious! I absolutely have to credit ALL the staff - for such an incredible memory. From the housekeepers to the musicians that played at dinner (we witnessed a saxophonist, pianist, violinist & flutist) that really did add to the ambience - but, literally to every member of staff: you’re professionalism was duly noted! Nothing was too much trouble & every single service was delivered with a smile & in the most dedicated & cheerful manner. Akasha Hotel - you deliver more than could ever be expected! I have no hesitation in recommending you - in fact, I’d like to come back! But, before I sign off, as much as I’ve already highly praised ALL the staff at this superb & beautiful hotel, I’d just like to highlight the most exceptional staff member: Klodiana because she shone so bright! A personal thank you from me 🫶 Thank you Akasha, you may not have known that I am grieving the loss of my son - but a week away at your beautiful location really has helped x

The hotel looks amazing, the views and spectacular and the entire hotel is very clean. The only issue is that it lacks any soul. What I mean by that is there was no entertainment at the hotel (other than the occasional flute player at dinner). The hotel is listed as a 5 star hotel but the fact that drinks such as water, juice or wine are not available at dinner unless you pay extra is ridiculous. To the point that you see most guests go to the Spar across the road and buy cartons of juice and bottles of water.

Rooms were clean and tidy and we was happy with room when we arrived only downside was the view from the balcony was a palm tree and a palm free only. Service was okay we was shown to our rooms by a man who was friendly. The vibes off staff whilst walking through reception or in the dining area was slightly off as we often felt the lady in the dining area was giving everyone the evils as she walked by? Staff seem a bit funny about swapping dinner for lunch as we boarded half board not sure what that was about and I’m not sure why they cared as the food was what most would exspect from a 2/3 star hotel. We have so far been here for 4 days and have had lunch twice and dinner once and have opted to eat out at sweet home which is a 30 seconds walk from hotel. The lunch on the first day included raw chicken, mushy broccoli and nothing else very memorable. The burgers taste really weird and would not recommend. The rice was about the best thing….bit hard to mess that up though. Location is good for what we wanted as it is right near shops and restaurants that serve better food than this place. Pool is small but not many people used it which made it okay with nice sunbeds however once again not many of them. This was not an issue for us as we came in April-may however I dread to think what it is like in summer months. Gym was a bit disappointing as only 2 people aloud at a time because it’s that bloody small, Once again not the biggest deal. Wouldn’t say the hotel is very child friendly as there doesn’t seem to be much in the way of entertainment for little ones (not that this applies to us) all in all I would stay here again as strictly room only and eat out. The hotel is beautiful just a no for food for us. Hope this helps anyone looking to book❤️

Service here is excellent. Johanna at reception was outstanding; she offered us local knowledge, recommendations and was always helpful and friendly. At the pool bar, Elina was also great value. The rooms are lovely and clean, and the upgraded rooms with a pool on each balcony were outstanding. We visited in low season April and it was sunny and warm all week.

Lovely hotel overall, the location isn’t what you expect it’s on a busy road with lots of beeping from vehicles. The servers at breakfast, lunch and dinner were lovely unfortunately there was one very rude worker in the restaurant about covering up and was extremely rude and hadn’t said anything to anyone else that was dressed the exact same. The rooms were beautiful very luxurious. We stayed for a week and the weather was beautiful and warm. Not loads of shops open that was due to the season just starting. Wasn’t a lot of entertainment only a few people playing instruments by the pool for about and 1 hour then the rest of the evening you have to find something to do. The photos online live up to the expectations the views from every angle of the hotel is gorgeous.
