But what truly sets this place apart is the remarkable staff. Alejandro, our concierge, exceeded all expectations with his attentive service and genuine care. His recommendations and assistance enhanced our experience, making us feel truly pampered.
Every encounter with the staff felt like a warm embrace, as every member greeted us with genuine smiles and exemplary service. Their commitment to hospitality was evident in every interaction, whether it was providing directions with a smile or even (many times) personally escorting us to our destination. This level of attentiveness and kindness truly elevated our experience, making us feel not just welcomed, but cherished throughout our stay.

The service is excellent. Housekeeping works very quick to clean the room, and the 24 hours room service always good and thoughtful. Stayed for 3 nights for vacation. Had amazing time in the hotel. All the best services and nice staff. Specially bartender Guzman in the desire club. Works very good always get drinks from him and very good bartender. We had a lot of fun there . I’d like to raise an issue with our wedding. We got married at your resort just over two years ago. We booked our beach front wedding back in 2022. We were supposed to get our 2 nights free with our wedding package. My husband unfortunately became diagnosed with a life altering condition. We asked if they could extend the offer, even with a doctor’s letter, and they said no. As much as we loved the resort and experience, we will never be back. The lack of empathy is and was insane. All they want is your money. Ever since, no one has once reached out to us. We lost out on our two free nights which we are finally able to use now that he is finally able to travel international. We literally got the green light to travel internationally starting in July. I find the lack of respect and empathy so disappointing. Is Hyatt that hard up for money to not honor this? Please forward this issue to the management of this resort.

I attended a destination wedding here in April 2024. I want to personally thank Alejandro, Rene, Kevin, Benji, Daniel, Jesus, and the rest of the dozens of staff members who made the experience truly unforgettable. I'm truly sorry I'm so bad with names and cannot thank every wonderful person I met!!!
Secrets Akumal completely changed my opinion on all-inclusives. I really felt like every staff member was so accommodating, kind, attentive, and downright friendly. A particular bright spot, I loved that one of the days was "staff vs guest" day at the water basketball event. I felt like I really got to know some of the talented, fun people who made the resort a paradise.
The drinks were beyond plentiful and of good quality. The beach was pristine and beautiful. The rooms were luxurious and blessedly cold at night. The nature practically was bursting at the seems, as iguanas and birds darted in and out of the trees.
A small note to improve upon, I am a bit of a food snob and found that sometimes the dishes could be a little hit or miss. I was part of the preferred club, and I found that it had tasty snacks at all hours of the day.
Once again, a true thank you for a great experience! I would love to return sometime in the future

Hands down has to be the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The customer service was second to none as they looked after us throughout the whole experience. It was very clean, the food was good. Everyone was so friendly. The only thing was that the room we stayed in didn't have any privacy between the bathroom and the bed area. There was only a partial screen to close, which made it able to hear what someone was doing in the toilet. But apart from that, the pool area was wonderful, as was the private beach.
