My stay at the Bahia Principe was quite terrible and I am in disbelief that an all-inclusive resort, or any place that serves people, can act in this way.
The customer service was HORRENDOUS! There were about 3 workers that didn’t treat myself, my 2 YEAR OLD daughter, and 2 friends terribly the entire trip. We were spoken to disrespectfully, ignored, treated like we were stupid. I have been to 34 other countries before this and I have NEVER experienced anything even close to this. I travel and post reviews about places for a living and I am amazed at what I have just experienced.
My sheets and pillowcases in the room had brown stuff on them - no idea what it was. Disgusting.
There were roaches in the buffet area (I have many pictures and videos of this) which is mind blowing. I understand some things are of nature, but seeing roaches consistently where people are eating in really insane. I won't even dive into detail about the wild animals jumping on tables and eating out of peoples trays at the open air restaurants and stealing your things from the pool area - you can barely relax.
I was humiliated in front of other people at the swim up bar, gaslighted for asking people to correct my orders when it seemed as if they were purposefully messing them up, BEGGING FOR FOOD AT AN ALL INCLUSIVE RESORT because people at the food truck did not want to give out the food that was being ordered. This hotel is really a shame.
The best part is, when telling the hotel about all of this, the best that they could tell me is that they would consider my feedback but nothing else could be done about it.
Please save your money.

This experience was TERRIBLE!! I had the worst stay ever and on Day 1 we established that customer service was useless. The staff had no interest in helping visitors and they tend to blame it on our ability to speak no Spanish. Checking in was a long process because of their lack of organization. Even after we got our rooms, we still faced many challenges and observed unexpected problems. For example, the maintenance in the rooms was unpleasant. I could go on and on but that’s just some of the things we faced 2 days into our vacation.
I would give a 0 star review however I am forced to even put 1 in order to post this review.

If youre in your 20s this may not be the best resort for you. There was next to no entertainment or music, we tried to play it on a quiet speaker and a family told us to turn it off as well as the staff. The rooms were kept very clean which was nice and the staff were friendly most of the time. Food was good like a 7.5/10. I had the best time off the resort at the disco or our excursions

Overall, a great experience. We visited the resort during the month of April and it was all what we were expecting. A great resort, good food and very friendly staff.
I was very impressed with the kid's club and the entertainment, it was very fun and enjoyable for the kids.
Here are some pros & cons:
Pros:
The food was good, a lot of variety and a lot of options to choose from
The Bahia app was great, specially to book the a la carte restaurants and check out all the activities.
Very fast and reliable WiFI
Cons:
The rooms could get some updates, but still were very good.
The beach was a bit rocky and the sand is coarse, not too easy to get in and out of the water.
Overall, highly recommended, I would definitely go back to the resort.

Really liked Kids Club for the quality activities especially the evening performances. Excellent variety of food at the buffet. A La Carte restaurants food were delicious. Service overall was decent but buffet dining room service could improve. Several times after drink request made, waiters forgot to bring them to table. Splash park and swimming pools were fun and large size. The cart service for transporting to other areas was convenient to take us to other areas. Guest Services were not helpful and did not go above or beyond. Cashiers did not have small denominations for us to exchange or larger bills. Air conditioning was working well and the crib and villa requested in advanced we had no issues. Overall i would recommend to go back for another vacation.
