Ramada Resort Side in Turkey offers a mixed experience with several highlights and some drawbacks. The rooms are notably clean and well-maintained, with attentive cleaning staff ensuring comfort during your stay. However, there were issues with the cooling system in one room, leading to spoiled milk—a disappointing inconvenience. Additionally, while the resort boasts various amenities, including a stocked minibar and diverse food options, the on-site shop prices are exorbitant, with a can of Red Bull priced at an eye-watering 3 euros. The staff members present a mixed bag, with some demonstrating exceptional service while others seem less accommodating. Notably, Urdu, responsible for entertainment, stands out for his exceptional hosting skills, particularly during dart games. The pool area impresses with its cleanliness and ample sunbeds, complemented by a private beach accessible via a convenient shuttle service. Dining options are plentiful, with a wide array of delicious food choices, including an impressive selection of cakes. The resort bar is well-stocked, offering a variety of drinks and cocktails to suit all tastes. For families, the children's swimming pool with slides provides ample entertainment. However, the main drawback lies in the sound insulation of the rooms. Thin walls make it challenging to sleep peacefully, especially when neighboring rooms are noisy. Despite this issue, overall, the experience at Ramada Resort Side is positive, with many enjoyable amenities and activities.

We only paid £30pp per night all inclusive therefore at that rate its difficult to complain. But on hearing what other people have paid and the fact it is rated 5* my review is based on that. It is a 3* in quality. The food is great but flies an issue. Drink choice is poor as doesnt taste good. And served in plastic. The beach bar will allow glass on request if staying at the bar area. Food at the beach bar is out for 4 hours. Flies also an issue. Staff at the beach bar especially the 2 gentlemen are great. Pool area great. Slides great. Pool bar everything in plastic even a coffee. Rooms dated and smelt very badly of stale smoke. Bed was very uncomfortable and broken. The fridge did not work. But I wouldnt of used it it were filthy. Balcony dirty old bird poo. Bathroom clean and good shower. What we paid though all the above is fine.

This is NOT a 5 star hotel. Don’t be fooled by the rating. Feels like more of a 3 star. Service is very poor with rude and unmotivated staff who clearly don’t want to be there. I accidentally banged my head on the wall because the ceilings were so low (I am only 5ft 4) and when I went to report it to reception, the lady was very unhelpful and was unwilling to find me an alternative room or tell me where to go to get medical help. She just said to go and complain to my travel agent. One of the supervisors at the desk even told me “you get what you pay for” and said to me how much I was paying per night as if that was a small amount. I booked this 5-star resort with the all inclusive package, what more could I have paid for!? The rooms are outdated and small. We don’t feel like guests being here because of the attitude of the staff. You come here on holiday expecting to relax and be treated as a paying guest but instead you come here and get made to feel like you’re a burden to them and that the sooner you leave the better!!

****AVOID*** Last day today before we checkout. List is too long, but here are a few main points I'm highlighting. 1. I booked two rooms one was a superior room and one was standard, on time of check in I was told no other rooms are available but just a family room, which was very disappointing as there was a couple with me which never got privacy throughout our stay at the hotel. 2. Couple of reception staff are very rude, there attitude is very bad. Customer service doesn't exist, smiling or welcoming are basic duties for this line of role. Mustafa was the worst staff who showed us to our room. But refused to show the second room that he had. 3. After chasing reception staff twice everyday for 4 days that the room phone phone is not working and now that we're About to checkout still it's not fixed. As I had people next door who were very loud and kept us awake till 4am every day, due to phones not working I had to come down to reception at 3am to report to the security guard, I was on 3rd floor. 4. In the previous holidays I've been to, I've never had WiFi issues, Ramada provided basic WiFi which was lagging throughout, you then have to pay to boost the speed, €2 a day for each phone. 5. After room cleaning it's not 100%, bare basic work is carried out. 6. Nothing is local/by foot you either get a taxi which becomes expensive or use a bus that picks you up from the hotel. Hence I had to hire a car for 2 days which took me over my budget. 7. Staff should be more fluent in speaking English as they do struggle to understand even the basics. 8. I paid £200 less last year and stayed at grand park, staff were so pleasant and the resort had so much to offer, if you missed food at one restaurant you had choice of going to other two. I felt money has gone down the drain I came to distress myself but feel more stressed going back, only difference coming here was that I am not financially worse off. Also had a family member who had medical problems thought it would do them good but how wrong was I.

Good : Most of the staff are friendly, lunch and dinner have a good variety. Very nice pool. Good shops on site. Bad : Air conditioner in the room didn't work. The beds are very hard and the balcony didn't lock properly. Breakfast is just a variety of different types of egg. Ugly : Our room was just off the foyer which was excessively loud until 2-3 in the morning. (Video Attached, this was inside our room with the door closed) Supposedly a superior room, whatever the difference is. Probably wouldn't return, glad I only paid £200 for the week.
