The hotel is situated on a pristine beach with an array of activities and a spacious main pool, offering a comfortable ambiance even during sunset.
The restaurant provides commendable service, although the seating capacity is insufficient during peak breakfast hours. Improvement is required in the quality and taste of the breakfast and dinner buffets. Despite spending three days at the hotel, the food remained consistently bland, particularly the Thai cuisine. It is surprising that this issue has not been addressed.
Nevertheless, the service staff demonstrates exceptional dedication in accommodating guest requests for seating, despite the apparent shortage of personnel.
The checkout process exemplifies the staff's commitment to efficiency, with employees from other departments assisting guests to minimize waiting time.
The beach is remarkably clean and offers a variety of activities, with unwavering support from the staff.
The housekeeping service is commendable, although turndown service was not provided on the first night.
During my stay, which coincided with my birthday, I was disappointed that the staff did not acknowledge the occasion in any way, such as providing a cake or expressing well wishes.

I am thoroughly impressed with my experience at this hotel. The staff exhibit exceptional hospitality, consistently greeting guests with warmth and professionalism. The beach amenities are pristine, and the pool offers a breathtaking vista. During our stay, we had the pleasure of interacting with Pin, a trainee who expertly elucidated hotel’s cultural attire. Her adeptness suggests a promising future as a manager. Additionally, Anton from the bar team demonstrated remarkable kindness and professionalism. Overall, the service provided here exemplifies excellence.

Brilliant trip to Phuket with my partner and son. Arrived late and were welcomed with a refreshing drink and towel at reception as always the Thai people in general are very polite, well mannered and welcoming.
Room was comfortable and had a nice view over the swimming pool and the sea/bay further in the distance had some lovely sunrise/sunsets.
Breakfast was probably my highlight of the hotel couldn't fault it so much selection and up there with the best hotel breakfasts I've had the broth (love the recipe of you can share) was delicious, as was the pad Thai freshly cooked, fresh fruit, omelettes etc really was very good.
We were out a lot exploring Phuket so didn't spend lots of time at the hotel but we're lots of activities for those who didn't want to leave, all well advertised in the lifts and around the hotel. The main pool and beach area was very nice.
Gym had everything you needed.
Some good restaurants nearby and a brilliant massage parlour where they also did our washing on the last day which we picked up after we'd all had a final massage. Also booked a few trips from the kiosk outside a restaurant/hairdressers and the man who works there was very helpful one evening with nothing booked for the following day he managed to book me a Phi Phi island trip at very late notice (11pm) at w very good price I'll review these places also.
Short walk down the hill to 7/11 store for reasonably priced drinks and snacks as this is the only real fault I had with the hotel drinks and food were overpriced.
Use grab to go to different sites etc we booked one to take us to temples and I negotiated a price to take us to a Big Buddha and he stopped at a hillside restaurant for us on the way down from there and then returned us to the hotel for 1500bht which was very reasonable for the time we took. The night market trip on a Sunday afternoon complimentary bus from the hotel is

I could not ask for a better holiday. The staff and the resort activities never stopped looking after us. The Chef and the whole team day after day had this wonderful smorgasbord of all different sorts of food, from fresh fish to curries a different theme every night. Totally satisfied. would highly recommend. Totally took you away from the day-to-day grind. We had 8 nights and that was perfect. Great for a relaxing holiday.

Pros: The app was great for requesting extras for the room such as additional free water. Staff were all so friendly. The beach was lovely and there were free activities to do. Breakfast was good there were so many options it was almost too much to choose from! Location was good, quiet but plenty of choice of cheap and tasty restaurants outside the hotel, would highly recommend Sawasdee as the best! Pool table in reception was nice with a great view.
Cons: Our balcony view wasn't great, we had opted for a sea view but were upgraded to a junior suite. This meant we had lots of room but were on the first floor directly in front of the back pool so people were always walking past and we weren't directly in front of the sea. Only ate here once when we were too tired to go out after arriving as although the food was tasty there is just as good if not better outside for a fraction of the price. The room was a little tired and didn't feel 5* but was perfectly adequate for our needs. Gym was okay but a bit basic and although was air conditioned was still very hot in there.
