Food was generic but still good you could just tell they were cooking for a lot of people. Bathrooms could have been better showers were a little substandard but the swim out was phenomenal and the beach was enjoyable and close to the resort. Like most Resorts the kid friendly and adult sections were connected and you had a lot of interaction during meals. Any negatives we're very minor and we would definitely return to the resort

I went to this resort for my birthday weekend. The resort is beautiful, the staff were very nice & welcoming. I was giving two butlers, Trinidad & Peter and they made sure i had the very best birthday & very best time. I was gifted two cakes and 4 bottles of wine. We did have an incident with a creepy crawler but they came and fumigated the room for me. The food was okay pretty bland to be honest the best restaurant was the Indian restaurant i’ll give it an 8/10. The food by the pool was pretty good i recommend the octopus & the steak. The location is pretty but super far from everything almost an hour so if you are booking excursions you will
most likely have to go another hotel to get picked up or pay around 120 round trip to get back and forth. When booking the airport round trip download the nexus app if you don’t they will give you a very difficult time and book transportation 24 hours ahead or you will have to pay basically 100 to get from the hotel to the airport

If you're looking to have a decent vacation then avoid this resort. The selection of food items and quality of food is poor, far below 5 star, primarily the reason I choose to give 1 out of 5. Bunch of us got sick during our stay. Star class rooms and amenities are absolutely far from decent. However the staff was friendly, but they are under paid as they're overworked a few shared. We ate burgers and fries during our 7 nights stay. The food at the buffet, Mexican and Italian restaurant is prepared by local staff, therefore, lame and blend favour. We will never go back again. Will not recommend to anyone else.

Do not go here. Went here for my sister's wedding. Staff was so rude. Expensive stuff went missing and was only found day after leaving...how convenient. We placed a formal complaint (multiple). more than 50% of our guests got food poisoning. Rooms were moldy. Room service took minimum 1 hr. Staff made racist comments in their own language not knowing some of our guests spoke Spanish. Getting a reservation was impossible even when booking more than 24 hrs in advance. Bars were closed more than an hour early. Do not go here. I have been to multiple resorts in Mexico. Save your money and go somewhere else. Our wheelchair we rented was missing for 3 days even though they had it at the front desk the entire time and still charged us for an extra day. Barcelo Maya and dreams is amazing. Definitely recommend considering one of those places. Only thing that was fun was the club but even they tried to accuse our guest of harassment when the DJ himself gave our guests his number to send him song requests and then tried to coerce them of money. How ridiculous. Worst experience ever

I recently had my wedding hosted at this hotel, and I must say it was a complete disappointment. From the lack of response to emails to the misinformation provided during correspondence, the experience was far from satisfactory.
During the rehearsal, we noticed that the chairs for the wedding were dirty, which was a major letdown. Despite booking a room with two beds, the staff had the irrational expectation that two men sharing a bed was ideal. This lack of attention to detail and customer preferences was unacceptable.
Furthermore, the hotel staff could not make adjustments to guest reservations during certain hours, which caused inconvenience and frustration. The room service food was of poor quality and left much to be desired.
To make matters worse, when we raised our concerns, the wedding planners offered a mere apology without any real accommodation or effort to rectify the situation. It was evident that our feedback was not taken seriously.
What was particularly troubling was the observation that at least five individuals of color were also experiencing issues and complaints during our stay. This raises serious concerns about the hotel's treatment of guests from diverse backgrounds.
Jamal In Canada seemingly purposely screwed up details for the wedding. The bride was still going through invoices the day before her wedding when correspondence was sent over half a year ago.
The management, was none responsive in the corporate Office.
Some of the staff seem to be incompetent or nonchalant. Service personnel gave us information that was untrue multiple times.
In conclusion, I strongly advise against choosing this hotel for any event or stay. Save yourself the headache and disappointment. I will never consider returning to this establishment.
