My husband and I stayed at Jock for three nights of our honeymoon. Words can't express how incredible our stay was. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and cared for. One of our first conversations with the staff was them confirming our dietary restrictions and showing us a plate they had set out for my husband so he could eat something before our first game drive. It might sound small, but they went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary needs. All of the staff were hospitable and so kind, and the food was incredible. Our room, including the outdoor shower, plunge pool, and day bed was jaw-dropping. The nicest place we have ever stayed and it was amazing to have a private little oasis to ourselves where we had views of the bush and wildlife. Lastly, our guide Lazarus went above and beyond to meet our requests on the safari. He was incredibly knowledgeable, and his passion and expertise were eveident in every game drive we went on. It felt like he was committed to making sure we had the very best safari experience. My husband and I continue to talk about how this was life-changing for us. Our expectations were exceeded time and time again by the Jock Lodge!

My family of 5 stayed at the Fitzpatrick, Jock Safari in early September 2024. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Our guide, Jan, was phenomenal, patient, accommodating, knowledgeable and knew exactly where to take us to see the big 5 plus so much more. We have amazing, once in a lifetime memories from our 4 night stay. The rest of the staff were so awesome- we were fed nonstop and it was all so delicious. We loved the fine dining and bonfire meals, snacks on the rides, breakfast and lunch. Every need was met. It was such a beautiful space where we each had three personal bedrooms and bathrooms. The pool and deck were great. We were able to watch elephants, hyenas and more from the comfort of our home away from home. The General Manager even checked on us daily. If you have an opportunity, you should definitely choose this venue and you will
Not be disappointed! Thank you for delivering and exceeding our expectations- best money we ever spent.

The room was delightful, as were the elephants wading outside my room, the view, and the great birding I could do right from my deck. We saw incredible leopard and lion sightings! The staff were so kind and attentive. Unforgettable and highly recommended.

We spent 3 nights at Jock at the end of April and it was such a unique and exceptional experience! From the moment we were picked up from Skukuza airport, the staff at Jock took such great care of us. The food, drinks, room and spa at the lodge are all incredible on their own, but the effort the staff put in make each of these spectacular. Our Braai night on the riverbed under the stars, our guided nature walk from the lodge and our lunchtime cocktails were a few highlights while we were at the lodge, but it was our twice daily game drives with our guide Philip that really made this trip unforgettable. The knowledge he had, from plants and animals to the technology to fight poachers, as well as his ability to spot animals on our drives was truly amazing. We enjoyed how small the lodge is (maximum 24 people), which allowed us to get to know some of the other guests. We were the youngest there by quite a bit, but everyone was happy to chat and get to know each other, and even play a board game or 2 together!

The Jock Safari Lodge is a dream and even though we have traveled to many beautiful hotels around the world, this lodge is a gem. Our ranger was a 12/10 and managed to find leopard cubs in the thicket.
We were deeply touched by the tireless efforts to protect the concession and Kruger National Park! Hopefully we can visit this place again in our lifetime! Special thanks to Luis the hotel manager, his entire warm team and our ranger Dawid who made our time truly here unforgettable!
