Fantastic, friendly and spotlessly clean.
Great location very near to beach and shops. Really enjoyed rooftop garden, pool and bar.
Excellent facilities in hotel with great food and drink.
Rooms massive, well laid out. and well fitted out. Beds very comfortable and good facilities.
Could not fault this hotel in any way. Thoroughly enjoyable holiday.
Best of all staff very helpful, friendly and caring. Would return in a heartbeat!

I do not recommend this hotel to any private traveler who values good food & polite service. This hotel has a potential, but in its current state - three stars hotel maximum, not four.
I chose this hotel based on two criteria: (1) location should be close to certain place, (2) part of Hyatt chain. I stayed in three Alua hotels in Spain in the past three months, and this hotel is so far the worst one.
Advantages of the hotel: location is great, rooms are nice, close proximity to sea promenade & airport, quiet (depends on the room), adults only (well, also misleading because adults behave way worse here :) ).
Disadvantages: food, security, service.
What REALLY sucks about this hotel is the service. Majority of the personnel is either very sad to greet the guests or too occupied with their phones. Exception is cleaning stuff (always greet you with the smile). The pool stuff does not care that guests reserve the loungers at 09:30 and leave until midday or later. When we had found that there was no free place available to lay near the pool, we waited like 30 min to ask the stuff to remove towels from “reserved” seats. The staff (three ppl working in the pool area) just raised shoulders and did NOTHING if even on every freaking umbrella there is a note that reserving a sun bed is not allowed, and the staff will remove the belongings! The same moment we approached the reception area with the same request and it was also ignored, except for one person who actually did his job and removed the left towels! Imagine that hotel guests approached me later after this incident and thanked me for standing up for them as they also suffer from such behavior. “We are all on the vacation, not only they”.
This is an affiliated Hyatt hotel, so do not expect much here, except for “Thank you for being a member of Hyatt”.

When we arrived we had high hopes, even after reading some not so good reviews we still gave it a try with TUI.
The reception, bar and public areas are nice looking until you really get into the hotel, our room was 226 & 228, although I had emailed the hotel prior to arriving to ask for rooms together and over looking the pool, which is what the website says you can do, my email was ignored and the rooms over looked a road which was noisy and we had a room between where a lady with her dog were staying. The dog was barking every night. Every day banging and bumping either from outside or inside the hotel. People banging doors at night, talking loudly.
Our room 226 was okay, somewhere for your clothes, TV, nice proper bed. The best part was the newly looking bathroom with a huge walk in shower, which unfortunately leaked. The towel rail was broken. Rail on balcony broken, chair in room broken.
We went down for dinner, which was very disappointing for a buffet, all the food the entire week was cold! Dinner, breakfast cold. Food was beyond basic. I don't understand why it's so hard to get it right, bacon not cooked, hotdog sausages for breakfast, cold cold cold. Dinner cold, we ate out several nights.
The cleaning staff were lovely, everyday looking after us making sure our room was clean. Reception staff very nice.Bar staff most nights were nice.
The pool is cold, there is not a hot tub, which is what is described on TUI app, it is a jacuzzi which is cold water not hot. Cold showers by pool.

The hotel desperately needs to be renovated. I have added some photos to explain it. The room it self is stinking. I didn’t feel myself good in the room. Just sleeping, not more. The walls are very thin. I could hear literally all details from the other rooms. Even the coffee doesn’t taste well. Defo not a 4* hotel.

Location is fantastic. Rooms are very spacious but in need of painting. Staff are friendly and professional . The main downside is the lack of sunbeds around the rooftop pool and the unwillingness of staff to remove towels from beds that are being reserved for hours.
