I had a fantastic stay here as part of a larger touring cricket side from the UK. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. Great pool area and with clean facilities.
The AC was super cool and perfect for the heat.
The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Dover and is only a minutes walk to the beach. There are many restaurants and bars within walking distance and plenty of taxis is you want to travel further.
Some of the reviews mention the noise, but I quickly accepted this as part of the charm of Barbados. Dover has a great vibe and community. The locals are fantastic and so welcoming
Will definitely stay again.

Nice location across the street from Dover Beach, with several restaurants nearby on the beach and street. Nice pool and front desk staff, that's the good. The breakfast/restaurant staff leave a lot to be desired. You have to go to the bar to get a menu and order and pay unless you have a lot of time to wait. Our toilet didn't work, lamp flickered and was never fixed after we asked, room floors dirty.
Overall, a 2+ star hotel. Would not stay again.

Needed to unplug and relax and decided to try a stay at The Time Out Hotel. All in all it met my expectations already knowing it is surrounded by activities, karaoke, bars, and a sports field.
It would be wise to be aware of these things before booking and then complaining.
The room was nice and comfy, clean and just what was needed for a little getaway.
The little oasis pool area is a beautiful spot surrounded by greenery, park benches and a pergola that provides you with that tropical island life feel.
Food options are available by the attached Amigos Restaurant where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner and you also have plenty of options in the surrounding area for meals within walking distance.
Service from the staff was also pretty decent.
In conclusion, It's a reasonably priced small hotel for those who wish to be part of the St. Lawrence Gap action and wish to have a nice clean stay with plenty options available close by to enjoy Barbados.

We've had a 10 night stay at time out hotel and can say we have enjoyed each and every day! The staff are so polite and welcoming (staff names to follow) our room was immaculate on arrival and each time we requested a clean, great balcony to people watch on the main street..very entertaining watching the bajan folk!! The manager made a point of introducing herself to us and ensuring our stay was to our expectations, very kind gesture we thought so thank you. The reception staff are just lovely and one lady basically planned our day excursion with places to visit which was more than helpful bless her! All in all our experience of time out hotel has been just lovely, two special people were Julita our room attendant..amazingly funny lady!! Darrin the gardener is such a sweet lad who speaks to us everyday and takes such pride keeping the pool gardens pristine. Great hotel, great location many thanks to all the staff regards Ben & Jo, room 311. 😀

It’s a nice hotel with a good location but for us it was not relaxing.
The whole hotel is so loud. You can hear every step in the hallway and the hotel is over a restaurant. You can feel the bass while lying in bed. The music is super loud and even after we asked to change room they said it will stop at 11:30 pm. We paid 300$ for 2 nights - not a good deal if you ask us.
