Just returned from an 8 day stay in this wonderful resort. Thank you to all the incredible staff that made our stay so fantastic. Having stayed at many top hotels around the world, I can say this was the best. If you want to reside in the rain forest, surrounded by monkeys, flying Lemur etc. Play tennis to a fully packed crowd finally (Monkeys) this is the closest to heaven you can get. Thanks again to Armin, who welcomed us so nicely.

On my fourth day here and I couldn’t wait to write a review. This is my favorite Ritz Carlton that I’ve stayed at and they’re my go-to resorts. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The villas are stunning. The food at the restaurants is delicious. And be sure to not pass up the spa! This hotel is seriously a gem and I’ve had a transformative experience here. I’ll be sending my friends and family here for sure. Pro tips: respond to the email they send you ahead of your stay (and book spa treatments!). The staff are very helpful in making your visit a pleasurable experience. They helped us book a private mangrove tour and even decorated the room for my friend’s birthday. Be patient with dinner service. Sometimes it can be a little slow, so just take the time to enjoy your surroundings. Take advantage of room service. It’s reasonably quick and there are tons of options.

Rooms: absolutely fantastic rooms with superb view. You get greeted by the monkeys between 5-6pm that swarm onto guest balconies 😅 so, stay out of their way and definitely don’t keep any food outside. What a wonderful experience, though! The toilet has a very strong unpleasant smell, but the room was perfect otherwise. Pool: the adult pool was a great escape to a quiet location without kids, however there is an extremely noisy machinery/fan/engine that works right next to the pool, to the extent that you cannot hear the music. Staff: extremely friendly and super helpful. Every interaction point has been perfect. Food & Beverage: this is the caveat of this property. Honestly, without any reservation, this is by far the worst f&b in any hotel we have ever tried in our lives, regardless of the service level. The entire menu, along with the presentation, choice of ingredients and the consistency needs to be reviewed and revised. Failure is across every single outlet across all meal times. We have tried perhaps 15 different dishes and were disappointed every single time, leaving plates half full. This would be the only reason we’d never come back to this hotel or recommend it to anyone at all. Even simple things like ketchup and mayo served with food would taste completely off, like a cheap generic supermarket brand. Salt and pepper were included with room service/on the table only 1 out of 10 times we ordered food. In other words, even basic standards were absent. Last but not least, there isn’t a single indoor f&b outlet serving food for lunch. You have to sit outside and eat in extreme heat or stay in your room and have all your lunches there.

Having just returned from a wonderful week at Ritz Carlton Langkawi I can definitely say this resort has surpassed any similar I’ve stayed at before. The staff are fantastic and exceeded expectations in everything. As a solo female traveller they made me feel right at home. My villa with pool was incredible. The high standards of food and beverage never disappointed. I simply cannot wait to return very soon. I have discovered paradise here!

We stayed for 5 nights last week and the hotel and staff are absolutely amazing. Of all the hotels we have stayed at, this one undoubtedly had the best food. From the breakfast buffet, to all the restaurants, everything we tried was absolutely incredible. The rooms are breathtaking with really modern amenities but also still keeping in line with the Island environment. The pool setting is also one of the best we have encountered with stunning sunset views and really peaceful. Special shoutout to Nurul who was so friendly and took out a lot of her time to speak with us and made our stay really enjoyable, as well as Hema from Horizon and chefs Law Zakiri and Hafiz at Langkawi kitchen (the cooking class was one of the best things we did)
