We stayed here for three nights and, although it's a bit on the pricey side, it was well worth the money. Rooms are lovely with wide balconies. The sea is a skip away, albeit it we didn't go in due to jellyfish warning, but this was no matter because of the large pool. Breakfast was lovely too. If I ever wanted to return to a hotel, it would be this one (which is a high accolade indeed).

In a normal way I don't write bad reviews about places because each experience is quite unique.
In this case I'm just going to explain to you guys you are basically expelling people from visiting the resort, either because the customers can't even step on the land or like me stopped nearby to do some exercises, that is the most normal thing in a place like that, in my case the security was quite friendly, I admit and he is just doing his job, following orders.
I have been traveling around the world for 5 years and I quite like to recommend good places. In this case, based on what I saw, I would think 10 times before recommending it to my friends.

This property is in an excellent location and is spread out across a large area so it has a good feel to it.
The attention to detail in the house keeping is what let's the property down .
It's not bad but needs to be improved.
The reception staff are are nothing short of excellent they helped us with all our needs.
The breakfast selection is really good and the other meals were very good

Well this place is amazing. Location : Right on the beach - a 10 to 15 minute ride away from the airport. Beyond access to the beach - local shops / eateries are just a 5 to 7 minute walk.
Friendly, courteous and service oriented staff.
Good restaurants - we here on the half board package and chose to goto the multi cuisine restaurant for breakfast and the grill (more continental style) for dinner. Specific needs were taken care off - example : instead of Beef Satay (which was part of the buffet) - the chef prepared Chicken Satay for us.
Suggestion : If like us you are visiting Langkawi after KL / Penang - go for the half board package. If Langkawi is your first destination in Malaysia - then try the local food a short 5 - 7 minute walk away. We had our share of local food in KL / Penang :-).
Overall a fantastic experience.
Feedback :
1) Communication between the central reservation desk and the resort needs to improve. Our reservation details (with respect to the half board package) were not known to the front desk staff at the resort. But once I showed the received email confirmation - things were sorted out.
2) Room amenities (Bathroom - lotions / salts etc ...) should be increased
3) TV - poor signal - needs to be looked at. (Though frankly speaking we hardly watched TV)

Wonderful stay at Pelangi Beach Resort for 4 days. The staff super friendly and warm. The food was top notch. The room and the resort facilities was the best. Near with so many tourists attractions! Can’t wait to be back!
