Best Birthday Dinner!!!! Our dinner experience at The Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa in Nusa Dua, Bali, was absolutely fantastic and unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the evening. The ambiance of the restaurant was elegant and serene, with beautiful views that complemented the exquisite meal we enjoyed. The menu offered a wonderful selection of dishes that were both creative and delicious, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chefs. What truly made the evening special, however, was the exceptional service we received. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to ensure that every aspect of our dining experience was perfect. We truly thank to: Desak, Purniati, Dewi, Mana And Ayu, Eka. They anticipated our needs and made excellent recommendations, enhancing our meal even further. The highlight of the evening was when the staff surprised my daughter with a birthday cake. Not only was the cake beautifully presented and delicious, but the entire restaurant staff gathered around our table to sing "Happy Birthday" to her. It was a heartfelt moment that made her birthday celebration truly memorable. The attention to detail and genuine care shown by the staff at The Laguna was truly impressive. They made us feel like valued guests and went above and beyond to make our evening special. In summary, our dinner at The Laguna was a five-star experience in every aspect. The food was exquisite, the service was impeccable, and the staff's thoughtful gesture for my daughter's birthday was the cherry on top of a perfect evening. We will cherish the memories of this special dinner and highly recommend The Laguna to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience in Bali.

Loved loved loved our week at The Laguna. We travel enough to say that this resort is definitely 5star. From amazing driver who picked up up and told about main attractions at Nusa Dua and Bali (Gede) to a very warm welcome at check in to amazing service at all restaurants and bars. Our suite was amazing- had an our own laguna and chaises to chill if we had no desire to walk to the main pool. Suite was very beautiful and modern. All the pools were clean as well as grounds! Food was amazing and staff were super attentive and welcoming and ready to service you at any moment. Buffet restaurant managers and staff were extremely good! Level of service, grounds, rooms, pools are all outstanding!!!

We had an excellent stay at The Laguna. The Laguna is a beautiful hotel with grounds that are really well kept and friendly service. The beach was much better than we expected, and we happily spent a whole day lounging in one of the cabanas. The beach is very influenced by the tide, so depending on when you go you will have a deep amount of water to bathe in or be able to walk out quite a bit into the ocean. Don't let photos of the low-tide put you off - when the tide is in and the sun is out the water is incredible. The rooms have recently been refurbished and they are fantastic - at check-in we were given a complimentary Bonvoy Gold upgrade and allowed to check in early. The service is friendly, attentive and warm. I'd like to thank Dhita for helping us choose a room, Ditya for bringing us some dragonfruit to our room when I mentioned it was my favourite fruit, Agus at the pool and Ewin and at the Deli for their warm, friendly and hard work in making our stay so lovely. What I really appreciated in this hotel were all the different dining options - unfortunately some felt just a tad too expensive for the food. On our last night we went next door to the Westin for a pizza at their Italian restaurant Prego - we really enjoyed this and the prices were fantastic. The breakfast buffet at The Laguna's Banyubiru restaurant is incredible and was the highlight of everything we ate while there - it is well worth the price and you will find a vast selection of rotating dishes every morning, including freshly squeezed juices and espresso-based coffees. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We looked forward to this every day! What left a slightly bitter taste in our mouth was that the dinner buffet at Banyubiru, priced around £30GBP per person, only includes water and NO soft drinks, sparkling water or juices. We felt that for the price, having to pay extra for basic, non-alcoholic drinks didn't feel right considering that they are all included with the breakfast buffet. We ate lunch at the newly built Arwana on our arrival day, and although the food was delicious and the service was great, the prices felt a bit steep - 220,000 for a plate of hummus and some pita bread, for example. The real highlight when it came to food was the Deli - we came here for lunch on our third day, and were pleasantly surprised at not only how delicious the food was, but how well priced it was. I highly recommend this spot for lunch as it had plenty of vegetarian options, which we felt were lacking on menus elsewhere. My favourite spot in the entire hotel was the De Bale Lounge and Bar just outside the lobby. On most evenings they play live music during their happy hour - it's an excellent place to just sit and unwind in the evenings. Sadly our experience was soured when one of the young members of staff committed a massive faux pas - he pushed the napkin glass in front of my partner and told her she had something on her upper lip. She was wearing cold-sore cream at the time. I'm sure he had the best intentions, but the waiter's comments felt entirely unacceptable for a five-star resort and this spoiled our evening. There was a quick verbal apology, but nothing else followed. Overall, we wouldn't hesitate to return to this incredible five-star resort. As beautiful as it is, do keep in mind that when you are here it doesn't really 'feel' like you are in Bali. However, we would happily come back as we had such a great, restful time and made many special memories to take back home with us.

Could not fault our stay. Service was attentive, hotel was beautiful and well maintained. Housekeeping were so lovely and made our trip special. Food options was great onsite and the gym was really nice and a decent size.

My wife and I booked the Laguna for 3 nights over new years so we could enjoy the festivities especially looking forward to New Year’s Eve, maybe have a nice evening meal at one of their many restaurants and watch the fireworks on the beach and maybe even have a nice dance to celebrate 2024. You would think the hotel would be celebrating with all its guests but sorry no all the restaurants were closed and only catering for those people who had bought very high priced tickets so no nice meal for us . The beach was cordoned off for ticket holders also so no nice dance or fireworks on the beach . You could maybe of course sneak around your hotel trying to enjoy yourself while feeling humiliated or even just order room service. Talk about not feeling welcomed We ended up just going to another hotel to celebrate the new year and next year we will be doing the same ..
