Finished up our 10 year wedding anniversary at sandals Barbados. We had a lovely time. The Butler team we had was fantastic. Shout out to Pierre-Paul & Abigail. There was another fellow but we didn't see much of him.
Pierre-Paul & Abigail checked in with us multiple times a day. They are both amazing human beings.
As far as the other resort staff 99.9% of them were always nice, smiling, and acknowledging us. The resort was beautiful and well maintained.

WOW. We were blown away with our first Sandals (and Caribbean) visit! The staff were so friendly and had so much energy to give. The bars and restaurants are endless with amazing food & drink, catering for all, whether you want to indulge in treats or on a health kick! The endless pools are stunning and despite visiting in peak season we didn't struggle for sunbeds, making the most of alternating between the beach and poolside. The watersports included are a great addition (although there was never anyone there so we had to just sign ourselves on every day). We enjoyed all the activities including the silent disco, tie dyeing, and especially the turtle excursions which was incredible with travel & boat trip & snorkels included! A short walk allows you to wander out if you're restless like me but to be honest you don't really need to leave the resort if you don't want too as everything you need is there. One of us loves to lay around & relax and the other keep active & this resort gives the best of both! A piece of advice I would give is that ourselves & many other guests struggled to get booked into 2 restaurants which require ahead bookings as well as the turtle experience so hopefully Sandals can work out a better system so everyone gets the chance to enjoy.

First time at a Sandals& first time traveling out of the US. Overall, a great experience! We would go back to Barbados or another Sandals. Lots of other people there spoke highly of Sandals as a whole. Very nice to hear as first timers. They give small portions, as shown in the one picture, which IS nice I can finally eat appetizer(s), entree, AND dessert. & You can just keep ordering more than that anyway!! Another bonus, sitting by& swimming in the pool& then having quick access to the beach (I think you can see by zooming in one or 2 photos)

Couldn't recommend. Overpriced for an all inclusive resort. Staff good but let down by mediocre food. Couple of good restaurants, CHI and Bombay. Rooms good size and nice. Great location and beautiful island.
Require to book some restaurants but very difficult to get booking unless you are Butler level. We were in resort for 10 days and only managed one late dining booking. Walk-in restaurants require to wait up to 2hrs at normal eating timed (7-8pm). Food average, except for 2 mentioned above, and certainly not 5 star as advertised. Would say similar to mid range Spanish all inclusive.
If coming here would recommend planning ahead dining schedule and book restaurants well in advance of arrival via Sandals App.

I will get straight to my disappointment, the service was quite frankly awful!
To be fair the odd person was friendly but by and large most staff were abrasive, unhelpful and even aggressive. The hotel was nice although slightly run down. Our biggest issue was service as was with more than 15 different couples we spoke with around the pool. In ten nights the beer pumps worked a Maximilian two days, one of those days I got ill because the pumps weren’t cleaned. If this was a festival I could accept drinking beer from a can but a 7/8 thousand pound holiday I find unacceptable. It’s a shame as the hotel is a nice setting but the staff clearly weren’t happy and resented their jobs. We found ourselves feeling bad for moaning but to be honest we did expect a good service generally. There is a very obviously staffing issue and lower your expectations when it comes to service. We could deal with the slow laid back approach even though that was frustrating but we didn’t expect the attitude and rudeness. We will never return to this particular resort again, I hope you find this review before you sign up I just wish I had checked the reviews before trusting that a “sandals” resort would be awesome no questions.
