We recently had the pleasure of staying at Orka House, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease, thanks to the incredible efforts of Serel from the security team. Not only did he ensure our stay was safe, but he also went above and beyond to make us feel at home.
Serel was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, providing us with the best local recommendations that truly enhanced our visit. Whether it was dining options, sightseeing, or hidden gems around the area, his advice was invaluable. His friendly demeanor and professional attitude made our interactions delightful.
The facilities at Orka House were impeccable, but it was the warm hospitality provided by Serel that truly set our experience apart. He was attentive without being intrusive, always there when we needed assistance or had a question.
For anyone looking to have a memorable and hassle-free stay, I cannot recommend Orka House enough. Thanks to Serel and the entire team, we’re already planning our return trip!

Not long returned from a 10 day break. Sadly I'm really disappointed with our stay which wasn't particularly relaxing.
Whilst I recognise that we were there at the end of the season, that doesn't excuse the issues we found.
Like others, when we booked it was 4* when booked then lowered. We weren't compensated by Jet2 for this or the holiday discounted to reflect the lower than expected standard. In reality 3* is pushing it for this hotel.
The villa itself was OK but not great. There were missing duvet covers and even a single duvet on the double bed. The internet in the room didn't work and was never fixed despite asking. The shower head broke off halfway through and was never replaced, despite asking. (And surely house keeping noticed it lying on the floor of the shower in pieces as well)
Generally the room was tired and in need of being renovated and made good.
Food - what there was was fine but there wasn't much in the way of variety. I mirror the reviews of others in that it was very British based rather than giving new options with a very small selection. The worse thing for me was the lack of care about the area. The plates were chipped and there weren't enough coffee cups so you would end up drinking from paper cups.
It was OK but we ended up eating out - not the intention for an all inclusive break.
Drinks - this was a problem. If I am camping then plastic drinking vessels are fine. I don't want wine from plastic over my evening meal or during the entertainment. And this went for everything from beer to spirits to their cocktail 'range'.
The cocktails available were very limited and for most of the holiday one wasn't available as they had run out of one of the spirits. As I said before - I appreciate it was the end of the season but running out of things is quite poor.
When alcohol was served there were no controls - not really a surprise when one member of bar staff had a 'double for you - triple for me' policy. This meant that some people were drinking far too much and made the evenings unruly. Whilst there, fights broke out between groups, my 11 year old was offered alcohol by incredibly drunk guests and any sense of relaxation was off the cards. We spent most evenings in the villa as a result. (One fight broke out at breakfast - thankfully we had gone out of the hotel before that happened)
We love the Olu Deniz general area and the people in towns were really friendly and welcoming. The hotel though, was a real let down.
Honestly - I will never go back to this hotel. I have seen reviews call it 'no frills'. Rough and ready is more accurate.
