My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon for 5 days and we were amazed at how exceptional the service was during our stay. All of the staff were super accommodating to us, friendly people and smiles all around from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out. The views from our room were stunning and the landscaping around the resort was breathtaking. The cleanliness of our room was excellent - the cleaners were around very frequently to ensure rooms were cleaned and bedding and towels were replaced. Room service was great. The breakfast buffet exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this hotel. We were truly treated like royalty.

This used to be a superior place to stay back in early 2000… I booked a family room for ten days, hoping to get a good quality and relaxing family holiday. Unfortunately, it was nothing but disappointment.
To start, I booked everything directly on the hotel’s website, but my Credit Card was scammed shortly after the booking. I reported this incident to the hotel but haven’t received a response.
Upon our arrival, we were met with a broken bed in our room. Despite our exhaustion, we reported the issue the following morning. The hotel staff's initial solution was for us to go for a walk for a few hours until the problem was resolved. It was only after I expressed my dissatisfaction with the hotel service that I was offered another room. Even in the new room, I had to call for maintenance four times over minor but annoying issues.
The bathroom was extremely small and poorly designed, so the water was everywhere, no matter how I tried to be careful. The room air con was blowing either cold or extremely moist air, so the room was either cold or humid.
The breakfast variety was way below the average, with absolutely no meat dishes and an extremely limited selection of fruits, yet plenty of pastry. Worst breakfast I have had in five-star resorts/hotels.
This place was famous for its Spa facilities in the past; during our stay, males and females had to share change rooms and spa facilities since half of them were simply closed.
The swimming pool area was amazing and surprisingly in good condition, with no broken tiles, but some guests were chain smoking without any issues next to the kid's swimming pool and no smoking signs, and staff simply turned a blind eye to it.
The resort positions itself as a family-friendly place, yet extremely loud shows run until 10 p.m. every evening. So, our son couldn't fall asleep until very late each evening.
I could keep adding issues but this review is already too long. I will not recommend Beach and Spa to anybody not I will ever be there as a guest.

The Balinese and cosmopolitan team provide an exceptional service, are very courteous, considerate, and attentive to your every need, wanting to ensure your stay is as good as it can be. The spacious rooms and extremely comfortable beds cannot be faulted, the facilities are pristine, set in a beautiful location. Concierge service proved very helpful too. 2 or 3 evenings a week, special shows giving a taste of Balinese culture, along with wide ranging buffet style food in idyllic settings ensure a memorable stay. Just a short stroll through the grounds to the beach with a restaurant set within metres... No hesitation to visit again in the future, shame its 20+ hrs travel.. but worth it!

Just stayed last week and it was awesome! Such a great location and an amazing hotel. It had so much character and detail, I couldn’t stop looking around at everything.
The food was very yummy and there were plenty of different options to try.
I found the stay so relaxing, we could always find somewhere peaceful to sit for extended amounts of time, and lay about in the sun-even though the hotel seemed quite booked. You could tell this from the meal times!
Meal times could be quite busy, but we always managed to go in the quieter times (before and after the crowds) and there was always plenty of food available at the buffet when we chose that option.
It was really nice being able to look out over the ocean from one of the restaurants as well as from the pool lounges and lovely grassed areas.

The hotel presents an outdated atmosphere, and the price-performance ratio leaves much to be desired. Our initial room proved to be catastrophic and gloomy, situated adjacent to the delivery entrance, disrupting any attempt at balcony enjoyment. The subsequent room also suffered from being outdated, harboring moths, and maintaining a gloomy ambiance. Moreover, the balcony furniture was outdated, offering only two chairs despite accommodation for four people. Vegetarian food options were notably limited. The pool loungers exhibited signs of wear and neglect, being both outdated and dirty, with insufficient availability. Checkout procedures were prolonged, with a mere two staff members attending to such a sizable establishment. The 90-minute traditional Balinese massage left us with a sense of mere satisfaction; one would anticipate more focused attention on the neck and a massage free from incessant pressure on specific points within such a timeframe.
The restaurant Tamarind provided excellent and prompt service. The food was good, although the water was overpriced compared to other places in Bali. The room was generally clean, apart from the issue with moths. Additionally, the hotel is situated in a pleasant area surrounded by good restaurants, in a well-maintained and peaceful neighborhood. It also serves as a central location for day trips. The hotel offers excellent security, and the children particularly enjoyed the pools.
