Our room was so far away from the lobby. Rooms were average. No hot water in the bathroom. Safe didn’t work and the security people had to come fix it. Location is good and you feel safe in the hotel. No free water provided on daily basis. Continental breakfast provided which was basic but did the job. We had an add on for breakfast and was charged 225tt but not worth it to pay that much. We had access to ride the bikes but we did not take advantage of this. Afternoon tea was good- had the tuna sandwich which was delicious and we were greeted by the hotel cats. Ginger being our favourite. The timings for happy hour and afternoon tea are quite late.

We found the hotel to be very nice. Lovely staff, beautiful position, despite suffering from the oil slick the hotel had gone above and beyond to rectify it. Visited the golf course, very hard but beautiful. Food excellent. Rooms nice, could do with an uplift in the bathrooms, but it's absolutely fine.

It’s definitely not worth the price anymore. I have stayed here many times over the years but unfortunately I was very disappointed during my stay at Magdalena Grand Beach Resort in October 2022. First of all, it needs general maintenance. But then they started painting the hotel these atrocious bright colours. It completely takes away the architectural style of the hotel. The air conditioner was not working in my room. The water heater in the bathroom was not working. The floors felt icky and slippery. The pool bar had no ice for my entire stay and drink options were very limited. The resort bicycles were unusable. My breaking point was when the pool had deflated pool toys floating around. When I asked if I can get another one they were unable to put their hands on a pool volleyball ball and was unable to get an air pump. When I went to the front desk lady was very unhelpful and unbothered by all the complaints I had. The manager was standing next to her and refused to assist me. The staff apart from the ones mentioned above were kind but they themselves were very frustrated with the state of the hotel and the unavailability of basic items that made their job difficult to do therefore making guests unhappy. The hotel refused to compensate me for the lack of basic amenities a hotel of that stature was supposed to provide.

I'm sorry. I love this place. It's so breathtaking...😥...the thought of not being there makes a person wanna cry! It's on the open Atlantic, so that you feel like you're watching the edge of the world. ☺ It is a supreme experience. You will need to rent a car to get around the orher parts of Tobago, though. But quite frankly, who needs the other parts? 🤷🏻‍♀️ You have EVERYTHING in there and at your fingertips. Enjoy.....ennnjjooyy.....ENJOY!!! ☺💕👍

Staying right now in this hotel (two double rooms 334 and 236) from the 26 April for one week and... There's a lot of staff but unfortunately they don't have any idea what they're doing. Maybe not their fault probably Supervisors or Management fault. Whe are in all inclusive but only use breakfast,dinner and some drinks because whe go to Pigeon Point beach the only inside bar (opens at 3pm and closes 22.30) almost daily the restaurant bufet where customers are supposed to dinner it's closed and customers transfered to other place for dinner. Today's arrived to the bar about 4 pm when returned from the beach had 3 beers started with Carib asked for another one they've finished so had to change to Heineken asked for another one... Heineken it's finished also!!! And had to drink Corona!!! There was only 5 or 6 customers on Robinson Crusoe Bar!!! Latter arrived to the same and only bar available about 7.00 pm asked for white wine and the barman says there's no white wine!!! Ridiculous for an hotel presuming to have a golf court. No Management in charge!!! Don't came to this place.
